>Skate 4's been out a full year in 'early access', is buggier than ever, and tried to cater with zoomies with the recent mega park they added>some dude released a private server/offline mod for the game that runs alongside your current install>it happens to also let you enable a lot of the shit that's just laying dormant in the client, like realtime day/night cycle, skitching, weather effects, park editor, the snapping tools, etc>it bypasses the EA DRM which also means Linux/Steam Deck users can play the game now>mod community has already ported parts of the other Skate game's maps to it, alongside custom parksWonder how the devs feel, given there's no real reason to play on the official servers at this point.
not my problem got a jailbroken PS3 playing skate3 and smoking hella bud
>>749042345I'm surprised the servers are still (sorta) up for that game. Can get matchmade with a couple other players the odd time of day. I'm just waiting on someone to mod the full Skate 2 map into 4 so I can see how sections of it feels with 4's physics.A shame Skate 2 itself on PS3 ran like fucking ass. Played it a bit last year for the hell of it. Bit annoyed I lost my 100% save for it pre-cloud storage times.
>>749042928>Skate 2 itself on PS3 ran like fucking assno?
>>749043009It rarely held a stable 30fps, especially in online sessions. Skate 3 on PS3 at least let you turn off the fisheye lens crap along with the 30fps cap so you could play it at around 40-50fps instead.
Wake me up when they also add kb&m support
>>749044143I don't know how you'd even add KBM support outside of mouse gestures to emulate flick-it controls, or just Tony Hawk style trick inputs which would defeat the whole purpose of Skate's controls.
>>749042345Hasn't Skate 3 had a recomp out for like half a year now?
>>749042267Can it run Mario64 on it?
>>749047009ps3 is cool I got a sick evil badass decal on mine
