This any good? I usually dont play bingbingwahoo games, but a friend of mine gave it to me, said I must play it
>>749060218its gay
>>749060218It's fine if you like a Metroidvania with an cool art style.
>>749060218It's gay for people who like Meat Boy with a gay art style
>>749061992>Meat Boywell that does sound gay!
>>749060218It's good but it tries way too hard to be emotional. The second one is a lot better. My only advice is not playing on hard. It's just not very fun.
>>749060218It doesn't matter if it's good or not. Be cool and play the game for your friend.
it gets misclassified as a metroidvania all the time, it's really just a platformer. it's pretty boring as a game, depends how much you're swayed by cinematic experiences
>>749060218kino OST
>>749060218It's great, unlike the sequel
>>749062804>>749064060hmmm
>>749060218The first game is heavily reliant on its cinematic set pieces, opening and ending The second tries to be a normal game and does an okay job at it. They can be good and worth playing but I would also say they're generally outclassed
I liked it a lot, it has heart and the chase sequences are a ton of fun. They lost their way with the sequel by trying too hard to be Hollow Knight.
its shit
>>749060218I've been playing the sequel, it is definitely one of the metroidvanias of all time.
>>749060218Trooncore
>>749060218Yeah it's really
>>749060218I like both games more than hollow knight
Kino feywild aesthetic
>>749060218It's the perfect example of>Top tier aesthetics, mediocre gameplayyou see in those bait threads. The game is truly beautiful, and the ost is amazing. Absolutely 10/10 visual and music design. But the gameplay is very, very basic with almost no replayability or challenge, and for a metroidvania, the exploration is ass. You'll be done in 10-20 hours.
>>749060218It's not bing bing wahoo though, it's Super Meat Boy with prettier art and a small bit of fart-huffing philosophy.
>>749060218It's cute
>>749066323While plateforming isn't too difficult it's really fun and 2nd game has really good combat
>>749064060>>749064745I don't understand how anyone can prefer the first game over the second.
>>749064625Original vs. sequel depends pretty much entirely on whether you prefer the sequel's extra combat, which was pretty blatantly an answer to Hollow Knight. Some people prefer exploration and platforming challenges with combat being less important.
>>749060218It's very pretty playing the game itself is a middling experience.I'd play Hollow Knight or Silksong first if you're after a modern metroidvania. And if you have played them just know you're in for a relaxing experience.
First game has beautiful aesthetics and outstanding gameplay (past the first hour) if youre not low IQ
>>749060218Yeah its really good and has some superb art directionthe sequel is better
It's very very good. It's a platformer, not a metroidvania.
I just replayed it days ago. It's fine, but there are no boss fights. Instead, you gotta do these fucking dogshit escape sequences. The most memorable ability is bash, the rest are all boring shit you've seen a bunch. I gave zero fucking shits about the story, but cutscenes are skippable. It's a 10 hours game to full clear, which is decent length.
Yes. Both Ori videogames are fun.
>>749060218>This any good?yeahVery good platformer that rewards the player for playing well rather than just throwing more memory-game difficulty spikes at you.Every mistake I made wasn't "this is some bullshit," it was clearly "whelp, i fucked up."The sequel is even better. It's the same style but it's like they polished every good thing about he first and tried to downplay every bad thing. They're the games Hollow Knight wants to be when it grows up.
