Alright controversial take here but Shadow of the Colossus is a 7-8/10 game that's elevated to a 9/10 by this logic>Game runs like shit>Game world is empty as shit>Game is clunky as shitHowever>Game on PS2 had a really nice art design>Completely encouraged exploration >Had a huge amount of mystery surrounding it that makes you want to actually revisit the game and see if there's something to solve (there wasn't at least in the original but a huge amount of fans thought there was, look into this for a fun rabbit hole)>Good bosses>Interesting narrative I love this game but it perfectly matches this idea
