GE3 felt awkward since it was the first non-vita entry and the gameplay felt clumsy. I wasn't a fan of the aragami raids either, it wasn't fun fighting a bullet sponge with a group of bots compared to something like the Crimson Orochi
Now that Code Vein 2 flopped, maybe yeah. Monhun Wilds dropping the ball so hard should be used as an opportunity to open the copycat floodgates yet again.

And they fucking hinted at the possibility of being connected to Code Vein which they then proceed to deny-but-not-really any prior connection with the 2nd game only to fucking backpedal it with well revenant is ackshually a super human bans, an EVOLVED human benas, if you will, that comes part and parcel with dimension hopping ability. Of course they can always just leave it at that and just make up new story about some shit but then you get shit like the gacha games.

GE2 ended with a very slowly expanding section of the earth that had already gone through the Devouring Apocalypse. Meanwhile GE3 hinted that Soma still had Blood and Fenrir remnants around in a place relatively safe from the ash and that Aragami humans are starting to commonly emerge like Phym and Shio. These Aragami kids are sapient aragami with the same powers as those creatures and their own Bias Factors, susceptibility to Resonance Fields (psychic powers), appetites and cores. This doesn't stop the Devouring Apocalypse from occurring, but it does introduce the possibility of the Aragami no longer trying to cause it.Code Vein 2 is still connected to 1 and GE, but tangentially in the distant future of one or both of the other games. Revenants are supernaturally strong by nature with powers that respond to emotions with a psychic bond, and are immortal creatures that revive forever unless you destroy their "heart" for good. Also if enough of them exist at once an event called the Resurgence is caused where their collective energy resonates and mutates into a monster that threatens to create an apocalypse scenario.I'm not implying anything, I'm just saying.
