I like it as an overkill option on the pool level

By the time you can afford it you’re basically already finished, so often I just dig up the back-row for the last wave or so and plop these down for fun.

I also think sunflowers behind shooters makes more sense but I guess that's not the correct speedrun tech

Probably because picrelated. It makes making an even coverage hard since at top and bottom row they only shoot 2 peas and effectively become repeater that's 50% more expensive
