Has a video game puzzle ever genuinely filtered you?
Only the Silent Hill 3 Shakespeare puzzle on hard, which required real-life external knowledge of Shakespeare and even then was pretty cryptic

In high school I had a friend who would make me do puzzles in games so he could prove I was stupider than him.I'd always try to object because like... they're designed to be solved. They wouldn't put a puzzle in a game they didn't think most people could figure out.But he wasn't having it, it was very important to me he had a way to prove he was smarter than me.Anyway, one day I asked if he'd ever figure out one of these puzzles out on his own or he was just gonna force me, the person he thinks is the dumbest man alive, to do all his thinking for him.He got so mad he threw himself on the floor, wrapped his shirt around his head, and scream/cried into it for like an hour, while me and his sister just stared and watched. Before you ask, why yes, he did cut everyone off from his life and become trans after school. How could you tell?
That seems like a very true and not at all made up story.
