I'm hoping Dark Arisen 2 adds a nice big dungeon, even if it's already confirmed we're not really getting BBI again, and a final boss theme that can hopefully manage to be half as good as Coils of Light. But most of all, I'm hoping to find something weird and unexpected, the best part of DD is the belief there COULD be something cool right around the corner even if base DD2 kinda disappointed on that front in the end.

How is spearhand? I just boughted the game and haven't followed the game since release and remembering the rough launch, but I like it so far. But I also remember something about spearhand being shit, that might be outdated. I just want a battlemage of sorts.
>>749217178It's kind of a battlemage. Zapping shit with force bolts to stun/freeze them, some non-elemental projectiles, blade beams and levitation to throw enemies around.It's not shit at all. The core Bolt skill lets you timestop anything if you charge it for a few seconds.

>>749217434I spent the last few days playing trickster, and for the last couple trickster-warferer. Trickster as a standalone vocation is kinda lame and frustrating but it becomes really fun when you don't play trickster. Put up a ghost, set up the agro, pull out a sword and stab every one while they're distracted. Also lets you make more offensive use out of Binding effigy if you pick a secondary class with some kind of counter capability.
