GX manga feels a lot more grounded and has a lot more of the cast take charge (the rival beats the MC in a tournament) but it's cut short since they wanted to move on to 5Ds and it was paced already pretty fast. dunno much about the other manga but I heard they're significantly worse. 5Ds is good but ends on a wet fart. Zexal starts off "bad" (I'd say it's like "omg wtf is this retard doing" and a bit painful to watch if you actually play yugioh but the plot is actually pretty decent. probably the "second" objectively best yugioh show. (OG or 5Ds being first depending on your preference). Arc-V starts okay and ends like absolute shit. Vrains is just meh. Chronicles is cute as fuck and they should've just made this a full fledge anime series instead of "WHOA ITS LIKE MY CARD ENGAGE WHOAAA IS THAT MY CARD NADIR SERVANT????"

The battle city arc right after is when it really hits it's stride and figures out it's identity and is to date the best yugioh has ever been.Both the sub and dub are good ways to experience it. I would personally reccomend the dub because even though it has a bit of classic 4kids censorship english Kaiba is hysterically over the top in a way no other show has matched.

Also non equips are super clunky because you need to spend your entire turn activating it, whereas you can fuse equips into monsters.
