I recommend everyone learns an instrument. The guitar is a nice easy one to get started with, where even if you just know a few basic chords, you can strum a pleasant tune together. I've been playing casually for about 20 years. I'm still not very good (lazily self taught) but over the years it has always been a way to process things and I guess meditate in some sense. Reading is also something we should all do more of.

I did scouts through my teens, but i'm too old now. It was fun.I did 3 different martial arts, but all the dojos closed down and turned into pilates/yoga/womanshitI also did horse riding at two places. One farm of which has completely transformed into a migrant dumping motel.I did drumming, but the lessons were getting expensive and i broke my bones so it was time to quit.Did some other shit, workshops i can barely remember.I've done enough to be boring now and just garden, have pets, cook, chat with the last remaining friends.Life isn't bad.

In case you are cucked to your parents or roomies, believe me, it's far better to live in an RV or even a tent with laptop if you can't stand living with others.If you make yourself depressed while young, you're not gonna make it. Life already knows too many layers of suffering just to think about that.
