Devs, I know you read these threads. Please consider adding a NG+ option and some unlockable, overpowered weapons as rewards for doing different things. Maybe a really overpowered unbreakable weapon or an infinite ammo gun. It’s one of those little things that Resident Evil always has, that other horror games usually fail to include. I enjoyed the game. It felt like a low budget shooter from the 00s with a lot of passion. But I couldn't relate to Aidan at all. The pistol with armored piercing bullets is great for killing armored cultists with two headshots, ammo is plentiful and easy to craft. AK is a solid all around weapon, can also pierce armor with the upgrade, holds 31 shots so it frees up inventory space. Ammo is costly and you don’t get it until late in the game. Revolver has high damage but it’s slow and it doesn’t seem to pierce armor, which was surprising. I didn’t bother with it too much. SMG seemed weak and burned through ammo, I sold it, just didn’t seem good.
