Like you cant do butt bounces at the very height of it without triggering a super butt bounce thats more for attacking enemies, so you intentionally gotta delay your button press so the butt bounce can be performed continuously.Otherwise yeah its a pretty decent remake if for nothing else then the ffort put in like making the water auto-scroll level into an actual level to explore, unique boss designs, a lengthy post game, and so on and so on. The Sonic DLC level was pretty decent too.The only thing anons on here point to being "soulless" is the OP movie not being as cool as the OG game but it is running in real time to be fair, its not like the OG's games ghost looked expressive outside the cutscenes

They remastered+added some bosses to make them actually difficult with tight timing windows for avoiding attacks, which I found pretty satisfying to learn and overcome.I want to see the same team do Pac-Man World 3. Feels like that's already the plan, considering they brought back pac-man's VA from PMW3 in the PMW2 remake
>>749461663It's good on it's own, it's basically a new experience with how much is different. From basic control of Pac-Man to especially level design and all of the new stuff added. It really is a 2 cakes situation to me, I might prefer the original overall but I'm not complaining over having what is basically a new 3D Pac-Man platformer.
