Price is certainly a factor for some, but that's clearly not the only issue with the Switch 2's library in people's eyes. The fact is, people expected a system with a library like the Switch's (thanks to the branding) but got hit with a library more like the WiiU's (even some of the tonedeafness of that era's press cycle has come back) - LOTS of lower-interest IPs and spinoffs.
