Starting a new musou mode character in hard mode is the most fun I've had in vidya in long time. Game of the year. Also I got a +17 Elixir item and it has blown up Pang Tong and Xu Huang's builds. I have a +23 musou charge on Pang Tong's 4th weapon and he charges musou so fast nothing can touch him.

I got Steel element on Da Qiao on the second Musou level.I change the difficulty to Chaos and breeze through the rest of the level.I even got her 5th weapon before I unlock the 4th one

Finally nagged all items. I'm happy to report that you don't need the BG wind scroll to get the achievement. I've also unlocked Lu Bu's Tactic costume / white bodyguard color. Still got plenty of characters to level but I'll leave that for online with bros.

The +50 to allies engaged with the officer you beat is in the og though... but not in the remaster. You are actually gaining less than you should.
Had a taste of random weapon death element and now I crave moreAlso if you have two controllers, an old trick still works. The game scales itself to the first player's character level. That means put a level 1 on chaos mode where their 5th weapon is, then use a maxed Lu Bu as the second player. Hide the level 1 played and use Lu Bu to complete the requirements for the weapon. The mobs and officers will be ridiculously easy.
As long as you aren't a reddit browsing pussy there is nothing wrong with the morale.

This is purely based off of combat ability, how well they juggle, how good their musou is, etc. I haven't beaten musou mode with everyone, I have 2-3 officers left per faction so some of these are guesses based on just fighting them. Also besides Diao Chan, I don't play female characters.

I'm playing through Samurai Warriors 2 with every character. Just beat Nobunaga's campaign and currently playing as No.So far Masamune Date was my favorite character with a very nice moveset and musou special attack. Nobunaga has amazing moves with his power-up and is cool as fuck but his R1 specials (shield barrier and an attack power-up) take so long to charge and last so little that it's simply not fun to play as him, which is a shame.
