It's borderline identical to a Dualshock 4 in shape and ergonomics
>>
>>749509951
Best thing you can do for a DS4 specifically is TMR replacement sticks and a USB-C daughterboard to modernize it, but honestly if you don't give a shit about the touchpad then the Tegenaria Lite is a better version of the DS4, better button membranes and a MUCH better d-pad membrane.

>>
>>749510213
Yeah for whatever reason Gamesir thought the Tegenaria having a sort-of-but-not-quite Playstation 1 coloration and that Xiaomi orange and white coloration was the way to go. Some more colorways for the USB-C/Bluetooth version in the future and I'll be a happy camper
>>
>>749510082
It's bigger, longer handles, the sticks are farther apart and the shoulder buttons are different. No one makes an actual replacement for the DS4
>>
>>749510281
There's some comfort in the fact it's just /v/ brain-rotted enough to think there's an Indian connection. Even then most times I see "GAMESAAR LOOOOOOOOOL" in a thread it comes across as the same guy making the same post fifty times in a thread trying to shout down what he perceives as shilling.

Exactly, same problems.
DS2 was perfect because the handles were flatter, held up by the fingers and the sticks/buttons were perfectly aligned with the pivot of the thumbs.

for chinese people it is very hard. Gamesaar sounds more like a serious brand than COOXWETI or BIMGUP or some chinky shit like that
>>
>>749510568
Tarantula 8K's d-pad is apparently the same one as the original Tarantula which means it's dog shit, mechanical switches and imprecise diagonals

Cyclone 2, just make sure you switch it into dualshock 4 mode. Their xinput gyro is ass.
>>
>>749511414
mine broke recently and a friend recommended me the gamesaar in the op. i prefer it much more that the ds4 and would recommend it. triggers feels smoother, the analogs dont degrade in their performance, fuckign cheap compared to the dualshocks. theres a few cons, like the buttons feeling a tad heavier, the dpad been slightly more difficult on the diagonals, and the material the analog sticks are made with feels weird.
>>
>>749505695
I wish they'd make them with the DS2/3 form factor.
>>
>>749510406
The "itdo" part is very awkward to say, which makes me think an ESL came up with it. If it isn't jeets then I would assume it's chinks, which are barely better.
>>
>>749507785
Just about any cheap chink controller has better sticks than any of the official controllers. It's not the 90s any more where every third party controller was dog shit. It's a nice little side business for Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo to keep selling you a new controller every 12 months when they fall apart, whereas these companies make their money from selling you 10 different controllers for every device you own. And it works. I have 8bitdo controllers for everything from my 16-bit consoles to my gaming PC, all bought dirt cheap from AliExpress thanks to coupons and coins.

>>749513993

>>
>>749514112
>A clear play on Nintendo
Almost as bad as "Gamesir is a play on Game Boy". ESLs need to to law off on the wordplay for languages they barely understand.
>>
>>749514279
Made in Japan vs made in China. Sony/Nintendo were once high quality (“Nintendium”) before being chinked. Now the Chinese “stole” (continue making) the Japanese technology albeit without contracts, while Sony/Nintendo moved manufacturing to Vietnam, which is worse than China. In 10 years time Vietnam will make quality hardware by “stealing” and AAA will move to India. Ironic how Game”saar” will be less Indian than Sony and Nintendo soon.

Some of that is a Amazon specific thing and done by resellers for some purpose I forget.

Keychron's actual plastic/body build is good, I've heard reports of key chattering from them but haven't personally encountered that. If you can find one there's the FL Esports OG104 as an alternative, FL Esports is a phenomenal brand of chinkshit mechanical keyboards and usually touts triple-mode wireless and hotswap sockets in a very well customized chassis, but this place https://mechkeys.com/products/fl-esports-og87-og104-mechanical-keyboard?variant=44597036024031 is the only place I can find it for English-speaking territories (even Aliexpress is turning up bupkis for it) and I can't recommend it with certainty because it's apparently come under new management since I last ordered from it. Purchase from mechkeys at your own risk
>>
>>749514487
>In 10 years time Vietnam will make quality hardware by “stealing” and AAA will move to India
I actually doubt a lot of manufacturing will leave china at this point since they have all the component manufacturers so closely located together often in single cities which is a big advantage plus a lot of automation in manufacturing and their wages aren't growing that fast at this point
>>
>>749513208
I think they know that westerners don't like no-name generic stuff in general but have no idea what sounds cool in English. They just mash vaguely English sounding shit together hoping foreigners will think it's a real brand or something

I'm glad they released the cheapo low-investment controller because I genuinely couldn't tell whether these were scam companies paying /v/ posters but I had spent so much on replacement first-party shit that a $20 experiment was worthwhile. I'm honestly still unsure if 8bitdo are legit or not.

I had an 8bitdo Pro 3 I thought was basically perfect, got my Steam Controller and haven't picked up the 8bitdo one since, enjoy be careful of the diagonals on the d-pad, they're oversensitive. It's fixable if you're willing to open it up and put some masking tape or electrical tape on parts of the contacts but you'll need a long-shank Torx driver

Playstation is VERY dickheaded about the triangle-circle-square-X glyphs as copyright infringement, it's why clone controllers that do opt for glyphs still won't straightforwardly put down a square, circle, triangle and X.

>>
>>749518231
It's an almost perfect clone of a Super Nintendo controller with added analogs, they're pretty cool for what they are. If you're in the business of shell swaps and stuff, 8bitdo SN30 Pro, Pro 2 and Pro 3 are compatible with original membranes and face buttons/d-pads too.
>>
>>749517291
ironic since they do it this way for PC gaymers and their button labels
emulating a Japanese console controller but not following their layout only makes it confusing when you're handing it to someone else.
>>749518182
thats why id just want them to have Ninty's setup so you'll always have A = Circle = Confirm and those are gonna be what most people are emulating
Xbox ABXY order would annoy me less if they committed to ABCXYZ like Sega, the next most emulated
>>
Can anyone help me finding a controller? I bought picrel because it was shilled everywhere but I just hate the texture, the buttons are squeaky and often press twice for no reason at all (and no it's not turbo or whatever else, it's clearly a defect and support essentially told me to fuck off). I want to avoid another controller with similarly disgusting buttons (so no 8bitdo for example since they have the same texture).
The Tegenaria lite looks interesting on paper and I love symmetrical controllers, but I can't trust gamesaar anymore. What should I get? I have buttons with Cyclone's 2 feel btw, my favorite controler is the Switch 2 Pro and before that it was the DS4. I have both but all my DS4 have drift and I'd like a controller strictly for pc and with hall/tmr.

I don't need extreme performance either, and don't care about wired or wireless.
>>
>>749507785
Anything using magnetic/hall effect have no stick drift, dumbo.
>>
>>749518464
Tegenaria's probably still your best bet since it fits all your wants for basically zero money
>>
>>749518565
On paper, just like the cyclone 2 was great on paper and turned out the worst controller I've ever used.
I'd rather avoid gamesaar for the time being.
>>
>>749505808
>>749506750
Actually the name i believe derived from the Hong Kongers using "Sir", if you watched their old pre-CCCP HK movies, they call their superior "Sir" as "Seh" in cantonese, hence the name Game-Seh or Gamesir.
But it's a stupid name, no doubt. China and HKers have stupid names for their products. At least the Taiwanese have better idea with names.

>>749518648
FWIW it's pretty much a Dualshock 4 with a better d-pad and no touchpad in feel. I do get being cagey about the brand after a bad experience with them

Non-Gamesir best options for symmetrical controllers with magnetic sticks are probably gonna be found in 8bitdo (SN30 Pro, Pro 2, Pro 3), the IINE Bastet, Nonbliep clone of the Dualsense, shipping off a DS4 or Dualsense to somebody so they can put in TMR sticks or doing it yourself is also an option, Gulikit has a couple of symmetrical controllers
