I’m on my second play through and I still don’t “get” the cabin sequence. I board up the windows, kill what I can using the objects given, when they break, I kill everything and board them up again. Once I run out of boards I either survive or get completely overwhelmed by zombies that don’t stop pouring into the room. It’s nonsensical. I always lose all of my ammo and healing items here, I have to leave a few things in my box just to recover. I’m on hard now so I don’t know if I’ll have enough supplies for Charlotte. I thought the rest of the game was fine but the cabin part feels like shovelware.
