You could add an envelope for the reverb wetness (or just volume if you are sending it to another bus) and make it pick up on the more intense parts but overall I feel like it is a bit too high and makes it sound a bit muddy/less intimate as it should be on the calmer parts.Also in some cases you may want to boost up the volume of some syllables to keep the phrase consistent, like in "but it seems" at around 0:25 being harder to make out. Take a pass on the entire vocals, close your eyes and see if you feel as if there are parts that are too drastically different from the ones surrounding it. The fix may be to boost it up or, if the idea is to keep that phrase as dynamic as possible then tweaking the music down may make it pop out more.A de-esser could help but not too harsh.

I tried to keep the entire lyric set a parallel to the original, and there are many lyrics I'm proud of there (and thanks K for nailing the performance). This is the opposite of the last example, lots of lyrics, and still I tried to make sure none got wasted on filler.
