The trial dungeons, extra skill slots and eternal ferrystone all do a lot to make the world more enjoyable to play in. Some of the new monsters they added help with the variety too. Bought this game after work and haven't been able to put it down. My first mistake was rushing through the map to do the main quests but now it's feeling less restricted and I am enjoying the slow paced exploration with that amazing combat. I have never played another ARPG where the combat has such a large focus on ragdolling. The way the big enemies interact with the environment is both impressive and hilarious. Being able to push them over, or ride them and going for a headshot is so kino. I am unironically having a blast.

I did a couple of the super vortexes and then uninstalled the game. Kinoshita's post game grinds are beyond abysmal and they highlight every fault of the combat system instead of making it more fun.
