I just beat ng4 finallyngb > ng2 > sigma1 > ng3re > sigma 2 > sigma 2 black > ng3 = ng4ng3 vanilla is pure garbage.ng4 devs did NOT want to make a ninja gaiden. everything about it feels like a metal gear rising clone. even ryu himself is an afterthought slapped in at the end and fights the same old bosses.the story is 100% fucked. raven clan? only raven clan defeat the dark dragon for good? only the dark dragon blade can purify the dark dragon? suck a dick.the weapons and tech are joke tier. blood weapons? magic driller/hammer shit? man fuck this game so hard.what were they thinking with dodge giving you SLOWDOWN and letting you easy UT after? god the cringe cinematic kills with buttrock playing too.don't even get me started on the SHEER AMOUNT of filler sections were you're just pressing R1 either on rails, jumping or sliding and the game is playing itself. and at the VERY END of the game you finally do a wall run on 3 walls, using your actual moveset.fun fact, ng4 has SHITLOAD more forced walking while talking segments than ng3.almost everything bad ng3 did, ng4 did too. and then they copied dmc4 on top of that.ng3 vanilla is pure garbage and honestly I might replay it after just beating 4.
