He's a proof of concept, but he's one of a kind, and that's how it should have been.IIRC his lore was that he was so pious in life that despite being raised as a deathknight under the lich kings mind control, he maintained his ability to channel the light as well as control of his mental faculties, but his body was under the control of the lich king. This is also where the lore about channeling the light as undead causes immense pain comes from.his case was unique and made it interesting. Now, like Ashbringer, everyone and their mother can do it, so it's no longer as cool or interesting. the exception became the rule.
