I liked it way more than 2, not as much as 1. Did everything there was to do and sometimes reinstall to shoot some BRs. I think it could've been much, much worse.

Gameplay wise i think its really fucking good and has shockingly great gunplay for a fucking rockstar game, all their games have barebones terrible gameplay but MP3 keeps it intense by making max die in one headshot and have enemies that actually can aim their goddamn shots and melt you if youre not careful.But story wise it is absolutely awful and amateurishly written but i always thought houser was a hack.Gta 4 Nico's constant talk about "the war" was just so fucking annoying, he talks like an emo teenager. Nobody gives a single fuck about anything you went through but hell answer a question with "when you see a bunch of kids with hands chopped off you just dont care about anything anymore"Nobody fucking talks like that and its just annoying.His games always have juvenile level social commentary that thinks its so smart. But rockstar despite their extreme and mature themes makes games for kids. Kids love that edgy shit because its big boy grown up stuff and they all wanna grow up and be gangsters driving cars and shooting guns.

I played all 3 multiple times and i like 3 more than most but it's story and writing sucks assMan on fire was a lot more fun and charming

I haven't played 3 yet but I played 2 for the first time a few months ago and it fucking sucked. The gameplay is slightly better and guns feel better, but the story went to complete shit; the tone is totally different and it's you running back and forth across the same areas over and over again while Max becomes increasingly retarded over criminal pussy. Massive fucking downgrade from the first game overall.

Nah he's retarded. 1>3>2. 2 is a nearly abject failure. Bullet time is now right click to win every encounter, and you better turn it off if you want to avoid the stupid pirouette reload. Max's obsession with Mona Sax isn't believable at all and skates by on "he's a man she's a woman" alone. They have no chemistry, they don't even particularly like each other in 2 whereas in 1 they flirt a little bit.2, with the Inner Circle tearing itself apart, Vlad's daddy issues, Woden's aging, was a different story and kind of game with Max Payne and Mona Sax shoved in there. It's just not a particularly good game. 3 is definitely better.
