Deadzone doesn't matter, I intentionally put a deadzone setting on for all games for more accuracy. The issue is that you are just sitting there and aiming for the head instead of the wider torso. You also don't leave rations equipped to auto-heal, not that you even need them. Also, you can just use the d-pad
