It still has all the same problems, characters changing appearance after awhile, mixing up speakers if more than a few people are talking, total loss of consistency after roughly 10-15 of writing, all the weird hoop you have to go through to have nuance (try having a character keep a secret for more than a few paragraphs, its fucking infuriating), the usual "AI-isms" you see in each model, etc. From what I hear, img gen has similar consistency issues and you need actual technical ability to correct it and hide that its AI. Also AI tends to have pretty stilted prose on its own and tends to over compensate on your writing style. If youre a bit heavy on commas in a certain section, it will start inserting commas in every sentence after awhile. This is really fucking annoying for characters that have different ways of speaking. You can designate certain characters to speak a certain way, but it will inevitability break down and start mixing so your gruff, no bullshit dock worker will start waxing poetic.t. Published before AI and has extensively worked with text gen. Its best application is brute forcing through writers block. Inb4 some shill insists XYZ model fixes it. It doesnt.
