Been playing the game since day 1 and have essentially avoided every single thread on here so far. I got spoiled on the most random bullshit in 3H due to these threads that I'm not joining until i've seen most of what I want to see

There's very little about this game that excels over other FE games. The gameplay is middling and often tedious, the story is poorly executed as a result of a complicated and overambitious development, opportunity cost is an illusion as the game at its core is a grindfest. I loved Three Houses, but comparing to it, it's insane just how many more maps FW has compared to 3H, and very minimal overlap.
I got inspired and made this just now and I put in the deployment slots (along with how many guest units) are in each map. Those are the numbers before each battle name.
I color coded the Qualifiers that repeat across routes. And while Cai vs Theodora was nearly the same, they both function differently.

I heard people bitch about the length of 3 houses but after playing it they're retarded, 3 houses monastery section should have easily been 3 or 4 times longer than it was. You barely have time to make your units good, and god forbid you want to recruit someone from a different house and actually use them. Maybe I just spread myself too thin but I had a semi decent sized roster of people I wanted to cycle through and I went into the time skip with them all just being "ok". Feels like it's the type of situation where you need to go into the game knowing who your main squad is going to be and hard focusing only on them.
Fortunes Weave though is ridiculous. My roommate is playing it and has like 130 hours on it and I think he just got to part 3

Im not gonna lie, I finished Dietrich's Part 1 and beat chapter 1 of part 2 and im kinda disappointed so far.
The structure of this game feels a bit convoluted to me. Why did I spend 38 hours on Dietrich if Part 2 is going to center around Theodora and other characters my autistic murderhobo didnt interact with or learn anything about.
