Ive found that actors are often incredibly mercenary in their disposition toward their work. Many of them dont research roles before taking them on and/or dont watch the films they're in. Tbf I feel like vidya is like the inverse case for VAs in movies and shows.
While movies and shows are slowly departing from ACTUAL VAs for actors and faces that they can promote, or use their likeness for promotional material. Vidya is desperately trying to make faces of VAs more known by scanning them and being of relevance, like everyone says, not everyone knows Debra roles, but they know Debra is in it when designers push to put her face plasted on a character that doesn't need to look like Debra.

no shame to debra, I think she does a good job at voice acting but really sucks she's the one keep getting kicked while devs keep trying to put VAs in a similar space to actors.
