I also remember having people on my friends list who'd supply me with sharks, runes or potions because it was considered unreasonable to reach high levels in skills unless you were an autist for that particular skill. These days everyone wants to do everything so there's a lot less of that happening.

I'm gonna keep it real with you OSRS is so far removed from RS2 that I'd rather just play RS3. The game is just not what it was. OSRS unironically needs the reignited worlds that RS3 is getting. Imagine if we didn't have bonds and Grand Exchange. The game would be 10x better.I am considering playing hardcore main worlds in November though. Extremely close to the pure experience I've been looking for.

Imagine if they made a progression server kind of like how Blizzard did the Vanilla --> TBC --> WotLK --> Cata --> MoP progression server.We could have that and it goes through all the RS years and stops at like 2012 or something. I primarily did blacksmithing. Rather than selling goods that people had a use for, all it really felt like was me selling other people EXP so people could train their fletching or ranged attack.Now that I know how derivative of Ultima Online this game was, I feel doubly ripped off.

you only hate runescape because you bought into the osrs memeosrs fucking sucks. rs3 is the only option. let's hope rs4 is good.
