The 5800x3d is a weird beast really. It either acts like a 7600 or goes full turbo god mode and shits on everything other than the new 8core+ x3d chips which makes it equally as challenging to recommend as an upgrade due to it being more expensive than other AM4 parts by a fair margin and be old but at the same time in this world of uncertainty and mental DDR5 prices if one is going in for the long haul it can be a very worthwhile upgrade.

If all you play is corridor horror slop, pixelshit indie games, and highly optimized gachas, then you could get away with a non X3D AM4 cpu.
5800X3D cured my depression.

>>749693537This is a retarded opinion. The 5800x3d is closer to the 9800x3d than the 3600 is to the 5800x3d. You simply could not be more wrong. You will get terrible 1% lows on the 3600 compared to its x3d companions. The 5800x3d doesn't bottleneck so in games its effectively as good as a 9800x3d.
