To be the far original game was already so easy that the only way you could get stuck is either get lost or to get stuck on one of the few puzzles where the fairy did not literally tell you the solution. There were very few opportunities to actually get lost and very few puzzles that could not be solved by just talking to the fairy or just doing something really obvious.You were not going to ever get stuck because of combat. You had so much health, so much access to healing, so many powerful tools, and dying didn't even send you that far back. I never once heard of a kid that got stuck on any of the combat stuff. Even if they got to something that killed them they usually beat in 2 or 3 tries.So making the combat even easier is not going to change much.
