How many other open worlds let you aimlessly wander around taking everything at your own pace with that specific sort of interaction between items and NPCs in a first or third person pov?There's pretty much only stuff like Arx fatalis and Pirhana bites games.Bethesda games are mediocre and poorly made, but they don't really need to be polished since last daggerfall their RPGs havecarved out a niche where they don't have much competition

I have enjoyed painstakingly decorating my homes in their games since oblivion and have enjoyed every game since. I'm glad they give me more tools to do that. They are also a modder's playground which adds pretty much infinite depth. You feel like you if one of these games was the only one you could play for the rest of your life it would be alright.
