>>749737750My brother and I were playing Sengoku Basara (PS3) for nostalgia reasons and didn't remember Split-screen gets hard capped to 30fps so I had Claude make a patch to bring it back to 60fps like singleplayerAll Capcom did to cap it was, well, add a framerate cap and then 2x speed the game to still function like it does at 60fps.I also had it make a 120fps patch that I guess .5x speeds the game, that also seems to be fine, though I haven't tested it much outside of playing through 1 map. Camera movement seems a bit quick, and fall speed might be quicker, though again, i didn't test it much, it didn't mess up any of my juggle combos.I'm not releasing that shit though, I don't wanna be responsible since It's literally just vibecoded with one prompt.

>>749737750yeah I've made this mod for Dragon's Dogma:>https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonsdogma/mods/1176I'm also working on an SMT IV static recomp, currently spending tokens on optimizing it. So far it runs at 60fps on the Deck, but I want to have Claude optimize it as much as possible before I start asking for adding new stuff or changing things
>>749754365here's how it's going. Once it's all optimized, the next goals will be to have the UI rearranged so it works nicely on a single screen, and frame interpolation for that 60fps feel
>>749754862>frame interpolation for that 60fps feelfor human made code frame interpolation is logical, but why not just have claude actually change all the timing logic to clock-based framedelta logicit genuinely might be less work than functioning per pixel interpolation
>>749753725It just build it and it even gave me files that can be used for the system lolopus 5.5 is insane
>>749755097yeah I thought of that but it's way more riskier than just doing frame interpolation and it would take a lot of time (claude says). I'll add interpolation from now and then, later on, try with actual 60fps. Sad thing here is that the logic isn't in delta time, but in frames, so just doing 60fps makes everything go at double speed
>>749755097Changing to delta time is meaningless if all the animations are capped at 30. You're just going to get 30fps animations at every fps target regardless.Interpolation creates data that wasn't there, so 30fps gets doubled to 60 or any arbitrary number of frames.I think interpolation looks like shit though, even moreso on lower fps ranges, so I wouldn't recommend that unless the animations are already running at 60 at a bare minimum.
>>749755194claude's wrong on his estimates, sonnet can do all of a game's logic jumped and mult'd then returned in a couple minutest. did it with a game with every single timing issue you can get>>749755412animation interpolation is a different topic and there's nothing that stops you from adding more refined interpolation, full screen per pixel interpolation =/= animation interpolation

I think I'm going to just replace everyone with Banjo characters though. This time I pretty much just told it to replace Pipsy with Bottles and it handled it. Some minor visual issues but I'll just tell Claude to fix them. The custom characters had a mysterious red spec on the character select screen, and I noticed Diddy had it too even though he's a vanilla character. I told Claude to fix it. It turns out the panel they hold when you hover over them is a part of each model, it's just shrunken when not needed. You can actually see it on some of them like Diddy and TT. I never noticed before.

Its the sickening human desire for comfort laid bare; the thing I like in the other thing I like.
It's cool but at the same time I find myself a lot less interested in it, having to pay a sub and tard wrangle the model to get it to do what I want just doesn't sound like a fun time even if it's easy to do so. It also really doesn't help that there's just so many garbage mods and outright cheats just clogging up sites these days thanks to the lowered bar of entry.

>>749765248>It also really doesn't help that there's just so many garbage mods and outright cheats just clogging up sites these days thanks to the lowered bar of entry.idk as an actual modder for years i don't really see a difference in the raw numbers of garbage, sure now it's tons of ai shit, but before it was equally worthless mods replacing 1 texture, 1 audio file, or an enb/reshade/reloaded presetretards have pretty much always been flooding the internet with garbage due to unchecked hubris
>>749765248>tard wrangle the model to get it to do what I want just doesn't sound like a fun time even if it's easy to do soI feel the exact opposite way. You can finally be THE ideas guy. It's incredibly freeing and fun. Just don't treat it like some sort of chore, think of the end product. Linkle Wild Breath & Knuckles on PC natively. Scrimbo Bimblo in Dango Blambo. Map editor for game that really should have one (finally). Turn this shit that sucks to play into an MCP server, then have the AI do it for you, like an ant colony. Put farting mechanics in Half-Life, I dunno. The sky is literally the fucking limit.I remember seeing a post from one of those AI genning threads in /h/ or /g/ or whatever, I don't remember. But it was a guy going>I have so many ideas, I can finally do everything I want art-wise>is this how artists feel?He was, of course, shut down instantly, because art is mostly suffering and struggling with self-doubt. Is it possible to use this stuff to optimise games and, more specifically, reduce input delay and eliminate dropped inputs? Would be a godsend for some older action games.
unless you pay 100 a month the $20 one for claude is kinda useless, i never reached the weekly limits with gpt tho and i really slammed hard that thing, claude i can reach the limit in two days and not doing much
>>749770473Yes, if you have source code you can do anything.
>>749770028extract ror2 physics so we can make our own
>>749770473yea, but it'll take a lot of back and forth between youdepending on the system it's on, you're looking at porting it ideally, so you have more resources, then axing out the inherent system timings, so you don't get wait lag (like spu waiting on vblank shit causing stutters), if you can do all that you can begin doing totally unlimited processing speed (i.e. like emulated cpu overclock, except the overclock is infinitely high) and then you need to find the timing handlers and individually retarget them to be framerate/computation/vblank agnostichow many of these steps you do is your choice but i've done all of them and it took a few hours but normally that'd be weeks or months of human laborclaude can also build diagnostic tools in seconds to analyze what's using the most resources and causing the most lagi'm considering looking at rising zan at some point because that game's peak but the control scheme is dumb (super easy fix) and it'd be nice to be 60fps>>749770652eh with claude you don't even really need the source code, i started out just having it edit disasm directly at runtime and it has 0 issue finding the exact code it wants from the disasm and doing what's desired
>>749770394no, just a web dev
>>749770473Maybe. For a very old game some refactor might be easier. For games based on Unity or something you might be able to just switch out scripts. But for native games it might actually be difficult to hook into to fix misoptimizations like this.
>>749770672I don't play ror2 though. But I'm going to make this Ultrakill movement into a runtime that could be used for modding into other games.

Before I waste money on this how likely is it that Claude can backport Crash 2's movement into Crash 1
>>749771163100% if you actually ask what's involved, help claude learn and document everything about movement and animations in both, then just tell it to write it inif you're wanting it just in 1 prompt, idk, probably less likely

I am often astonished that $20 is apparently too high a barrier of entry for various anons. You could have nearly infinite fun for a month. Instead you choose the McD's. It's sad to watch.

>>749771030how much is this costing you, how long does it take, will you mod it to add shit like qol or is it just vanilla 4, and lastly why 4? I ask because I'm interested in doing something similar and you picked a game I love lmao.
>>749771582I've been at it for 2 or 3 weeks, and the most I have to do is test it and send claude the logs. >>749771582you just get the $20/month and then you have n usage/5 hours, x usage/weekyou use claude opus medium for very big questions that need a lot of thought, you use sonnet medium for things like "analyze this data for 20,000 similar patterns and execute this change to them" and you'll basically never hit use limitif you use opus for basic shit, or talk back and forth with the model constantly you'll limit way quicker

just a tip for newbieschatgpt can do the same thing claude can do here, but you have unlimited tokens for $20/monthclaude can do better, but you can test and get a feel of what it's like with chatgpt. personally i use both so i don't run out of tokens with claude as quick. so i suggest starting off with chatgpt if you're afraid of running out of tokens before the month ends.
>want to rip a server based multiplayer games gameplay out and turn it into a singleplayer game because the dev is a shitter>shitcode so bad you cant even connect to a dedicated server on lan>this is making the AI agent go down a network troubleshooting rabbit hole instead of just ripping the bandaid off and muff diving the binarys with REA I dont care what you think is right AI agent. I gave you a task, complete it. The fact that I cannot connect to a dedicated server on lan should be proof enough the backend code is shitcode and it must be decomped to fix.
>>749771995i haven't tried code, but depending on the size of the target, i'd wager yes, but depending on the context the diff could have 0 valuei.e. you speak english, game has a japanese and korean translation, you can chuck these both in and sonnet will find every single text string/image difference in a few seconds, then translate them all to english in one processbut let's say you're like "what's different between thps1 and thps2" i imagine that's just gonna end up with a lot of noise because there's no reason to expect many of the systems stay the same, it'll probably find patterns to scan but how useful that'd be just on the face, not sure
>>749771325claude always underestimates his abilities and gives wacky time scales, like saying a simple thing he does in minutes could take months.
Needs a LOT of touch up but I'm really surprised how fast it was to port Kiryu's moves (minus most Heat Actions) in Dead Rising. It can easily extract the animations from Yakuza 0 so I'm pretty sure that you could port it in most games.>>749771442Imagine this in Coconut Mall.

>>749772329That's because Claude doesn't actually know its own capabilities, only what's in its training data. That's why it still thinks that decompilation projects will take years when Opus can actually crank it out in two weeks or so.

Anyone planning to make Seinfeld related games? I really want that but I'm too dumb to make any of this work at my own :(
Any experience with anticheat n shiet? I've been playing the new F1 games way too much with a friend of mine in two player coop, but there's a desync issue that completely fucks shit up. It's mostly going good, but a few AI drivers always lag out in a way where they bug left/right by a car width at absolutely insane speeds for a quarter of a second, then go back to normal driving. If you're next to one of them during that you're completely annihilated. It should be easy to clamp that, but the game supposedly having anticheat makes me hesitant to try. I've given up hope that they'll fix it, as it's been a "feature" since F1 23 at least, and is still there in F1 25.

>>749780094I mean, it works for the map they are going for. Ultrakill movement is more designed for simple geometry. But even here it is so satisfying, and would probably be even better if I wasn't so rusted. Still, I am considering a skyrim run with this movement, even if without weapons.
THERE'S NOT ENOUGH TOKENS!!!!DARIO!!!!!!
Could the combat in Nier: A be meaningfully improved? I haven't played it but I heard it would be improved if you just reduced the iframes on the dodge.
>>749737750Modding ragdoll physics into games that don't have them
>>749781252I wonder if it can do dismemberment
My journal/checklist/waypoint/wolverine fart trail mod for Bloodborne is coming along nicely. Now I'll never be lost or miss something, even on a first playthrough!
>>749781369I'm actually attempting a mod like that for Oblivion. I made a Frieren follower mod, and a AI talk mod like that one for Skyrim or stalker that let's you use a ai model to talk to NPCs and have them react to stuff and all that. It's working, so now I'm working on a ragdoll physics mod to make them better and gonna try a gore mod like maximum carnage for SkyrimPeople are working on gta 4 and getting the euphoria engine down, so when that's done I'm gonna try to out that into other games too, since imo it's the peak of ragdoll physics
>>749781525Original Oblivion I hope. I wonder if AI can fix that engine from crashing, holy shit yeah that's a cool idea. Have AI actually look at the code to see what's going on.
>>749737750Starfield just got a mod that allows you to watch TV in it and play your own videos on it. So I've been fucking around with that for a bit
>>749781735It definitely can you just need the crash logger mod for oblivion and it'll give you enough info to debug the exact portions of code responsible. You could also have it make an interactive debugger mod that catches crashes and then lets the AI probe live memory before the process exits. These AIs are really good at debugging live game memory.
x3 improvements coming along nicely, there's now a special weapon button like the PS1 games so zero can use techniques and X can shoot lemons
>>749781252The ragdoll works in wow lol>>749779885Did you just let Claude work out fine tuning yours? Mine is pretty sloppy now but he seems to know the issues and is working on it.

>>749781918Holy based. I'm gonna have to set up a private server and play some wowFor my FE mod, after I saw it was actually working I just started telling it what I wanted. I told it I wanted the ragdoll to be cinematic and have room for a variety of responses to avoid repetitive death poses. For it to actually react to the force of the killing blow and the direction and all that. I also told it I wanted a % change for things to happen if they get air time like doing a flip, twirl, landing flat on the ground, landing on their shoulder and tumbling, etc. Also for it to sometimes have them play the death animation and ragdoll part way through, and sometimes ragdoll immediately. I just go for a ton of variety in reactions as my goal, and reading it back it's autistic as fuck

>>749781908oh yeah i was starting to wonder where were you in all of today and almost wrote an email about itanyhow, very nice progress, I was about to tell you in said email that you could use the abilities in this video for zero https://youtu.be/nAmPv7JfUAM (aka what you already have for spinning blade but red)in my end, I already got the normal x6-style slash sprites for normal X finished, with the hyper armor sprites about to be ready in a bit, the one thing delaying it for a bit is splitting it into layers since iirc the snes MMX games split the armor parts into separate sprite layers for every combination possible, so I'm taking that into account even if claude could magically just use the full armor sprites and split those somehowhopefully this + zero weapon sprites based on the video I just linked will be ready by tomorrow, so stay tuned to your email(i also have two other ideas sprited out related to this and X2 but i'll tell you about them in the email)

>>749782793i reckon it's just the natural evolution of elder scrolls combat. elder scrolls already has movement inputs to change/add extra functions to melee attacks. having high acrobatics and athletics is already like having force powers. most combat mods just change it into character action slop. jk combat would mean it'd have to have honest hit/hurt windows, both in location and timing. but you couldn't just copy paste lightsaber function onto shields, daggers and spears ofc, but it would be spectacular if somehow achieved.

>>749737750I've been getting a lot of rendering problems sorted out, octocamo works and takes the texture snake lies down on and his shadows aren't freaking out anymore he actually projects it naturally and draws into pretty much every relevant draw pass that I know of. Octocamo doesn't account for changes to a texture made by scene lighting or other things as it seems to stand now though, so that needs a look,>Octocamo improvements>Snake renders way better, the ugly rimlight is massively toned down and his shadows work>The camera follows him closer to how it does in MGS4 (lower on crouch, closer and lower on prone)Solid eye is showing a few extra things in MGS4's scene because I moved snake to a different spot in the world with more space around him to avoid him having any chance to run into a rock near his spawn. Next on my list is adding CQC that works on hollows and knights at the minimum.

So this is all different from that clawbot stuff where you give the AI access to your computer right? Or is that the real thing you need to do if you want to actually do reverse engineering stuff? Thinking about going through some old flip phone games and making wasm versions with better controls/resolutions
>>749787983Some harnesses have more restrictive environments, and there are ways to sandbox them entirely, but it's pretty similar to clawbot. I think clawbot is actually the reverse engineered version of claude code. When I was messing with opencode, it would have to ask permission every time before it could leave its little folder. I think Claude Code has a setting for that too but it defaults to "auto" which gives it more of a free reign with your PC (but I don't have anything vital on the computer it's on so it's no big deal if it decides to delete everything for me). I let it stay on auto so it can use my installed packages, look at the screenshots I take, and use blender's cli while it tries to figure out mesh exporting and importing
>>749787217Unless you know how to decrypt encrypted keys at runtime, claude won't do it. I've tried with 2 games but claude has a melty over it and refuses, regardless of your reasoning. Unless there's some ultra specific way to trick claude, you're out of luck. Either you, or someone else, has to make a tool to decrypt encrypted keys at runtime for claude to assist.
>>749788193Figured.
>>749781908Did you fix Zero losing all momentum when slashing from an air dash yet? It's lead to some quite hilarious deaths. Also, I just finished Zero in SOTN. The door to the portal room in Outer Wall is broken in both normal and reverse castle. The door opens and Zero gets stuck trying to walk in, requiring a hard reset. Orlox Quarters is unreachable. And holy hell, Catacombs was a nightmare but doable. Otherwise, didn't have much issues. I thought I was for sure done for when I found out that Zero can't drop through platforms, but it was only a thing for exactly one room in both castles.
>>749789390To be clear, it only happens when you trigger a dash in the air and attack, not from a dash into a jump. The game seems to get confused and shows the buster fire animation for one frame before swapping back to the slash animation. At that point, Zero loses all momentum and he can no longer move horizontally.

Granted I'm only an hour in, but that Azure leaked GoW2 port (Hollow) that had the kinks ironed-out by AI seems decent, but it's still based on a janky proof-of-concept, so you need to use Reshade and your favorite GI plugin to add the shaders and lighting that it's very clearly missing
is there any way to do this kinda stuff for free or do I have to pay to the ai overlords?
>>749791829You can get one of those cheaper models, they aren't that far behind. Also if you have good GPU, you can just run it locally.
>>749791829You could run a capable model like Qwen offline if you have the raw grunt for it, or you could do Deepseek which is many hundreds of times cheaper than the competition. I have tried both options though and I don't recommend them, all they've done is turn me into an Anthropic fanboy, the other models can't get the job done as good as Claude, expect lots of extra prompts and debugging.

>>749802951Rouge needs a tiddie slider.
>>749793980One more SOTN issue. Zero can't push any objects. For example, running into a crate in Alchemy Laboratory that you could normally push causes him to completely stop. This isn't so much of a problem with the crate, but it causes issues with other objects like the bookshelf secret in Long Library or the wall switch in the Undeground Cavern that unlocks the path to the Abandoned Mine. The Cavern switch has a work around where you can just move back and forth and wiggle it down a pixel until it triggers, but the bookshelf in Long Library won't budge no matter want. It needs constant pushing before it triggers. The wiggle truck won't work here.Fix those issues (Portal Room, Push Bug, access to Orlox Quarters) and this hack is pretty much issue free. No one can complain about it being unplayable.

>>749813381>insert the sprite starting from the X 28 coordinate to the Y 46 coordinate, have the next sprite be from the X 46i doubt you need that, i've had claude re-orient 3d geometry like this "take an orthographic view from the top, looking at the x/y orientation, and orient object a's center relative to object b" and the same from the side "from the side, looking at y/z orientation, match object a's floor to object c's floor" and it did it all in one shot, 2d is the same thing just missing 1 coordinate, so you never even have to specify what the relative viewpoint is

nice progress today: the 60fps has been polished, there's a launcher now with options and shit and it's capable of loading and handling a 5GB texture pack without affecting performance. Single-screen UI is in the works, hope that comes out as nice as the other stuff
How feasible is it to ask Claude to make a text/texture editor for an specific game?

>>749819227Yes keep us updated
>>749819227>there's a launcher now with options and shit and it's capable of loading and handling a 5GB texture pack without affecting performanceNow this is interesting, how'd you get it to implement that? I've been looking into doing a GameCube recomp of Pokemon Colosseum myself, and then implementing some QoL like saving anywhere, options to skip animations, 60fps, maybe getting models from PBR instead of recycling N64 models, that kinda thing. Are you telling it to look at preexisting recomps?
>>749819564no, it was easier than that. Since a texture pack already exists, I just asked to have a look at it and told it the pack's supposed to work with Citra/Azahara (3ds emulators). With that info it was capable not just of making it work, but also setring it up so everything is loaded on the fly and doesnt take more resources than needed (the texture pack is around 5GB, so optimizing that so it doesn't just store all that shit in memory at all times was important)

I've made some semi-popular mods by hand in the before times. One thing I'm noticing is that, outside of improvements and ports, there's very little creativity in terms of changes being made to games. Unfortunate. Most recently, I slopped up a system to patch different controller prompts into Dragon's Crown for the port. Apparently, Vanillaware's secret sauce for their 2D games is some super basic 90s implementation, so you have to actually patch the files directly, but whatever.

>>749839297>if you tell it to hunt down [piece of code dependent on timing] and refactor it to use a framedelta to be framerate agnostic, it'll do itthis just shows you dont understand how some games do their "frame dependent" stuffwhile some do indeed use the actual current frame rendering to determine their speed and logic, others simply ASSUME the game is runnng at a given framerate, say 60, and make their function be dependant on the resulting ASSUMED value of a frame, so 0.016 seconds.Claude wont catch that, cause such code is literally already independent of actual framerate or framedelta, the developers simply ASSUMED the value and used that, so these parts of the code will be completely invisible to claude if you just tell it to look for code that is tied to framerate

>>749840918I don't know, why can you find people here upset about it as well? Some people freak out at the mention of AI even when it involves purely technical and non-creative projects where you'd assume only the end result matters. That's just how they are.
>>749841239This oneMisspoke just meant regular comhttps://github.com/MatyMeatBoy/ReKHCom
>>749841254The genie is already out of the bottle. Even if the government clamps down, China will release an open-source model just as good, hosted in some Slavic data center. It's impossible to regulate and control unless they sign an international treaty on AI, yet both sides are too greedy to slow down.
so, littlebigplanet 1/2/3 bros, we're getting a pc port too, right?
>>749840918Because LLM gentrification is pretty rapidly destroying a lot of communities where people just wanted to talk shop, dude. Nobody wants Rajesh pushing through five hundred pull requests on random Githubs with Claude assistance, nobody wants their community flooded with hundreds of kids, teens and egotist adults that think Claude's made them a master programmer. This is actual cancer, uncontrolled growth into a bloated tumor.
>>749841254Execs are more than pissed. ContentID for AI is definitely coming. They'll start detecting "copyrighted" code and refusing to disassemble anything. Meanwhile the corpo porkies will get uncensored models
>>749841298Became a symbol of low quality because of the ones using it badly
>>749841298>check the comments of a cool new stalker anomaly multiplayer mod, looks pretty stable from videos>see thisI can't tell if it's trolling or derangement syndrome
>>749841443luddites are not well
>>749841402>littlebigplanet decompiledthe modding potential...
>>749841423Big corporations don't really have the power to fuck with copyright anymore. Do you see Disney trying to extend it again? No. Steamboat Willie went public domain and in a few years more modern versions of Mickey will be. They know the public won't accept more extensions and restrictions.Same with software companies whining about AI assisted reverse engineering. They're not going to get any public sympathy, only pushback. They're just going to have to accept it.
>>749841352Oh
>>749841298These models were impossible to rip before.>>749837368They need to fuck off and get with the times. Once they read the fitting story of Paul Bunyan they will finally understand that Waluigi always wins.
>>749841443On a somewhat related matter, I do imagine Dario either fuming or befuddled at his desk going>we created the most capable model in the world for coding, agentic workflows, and it has the most extensive knowledge of the sciences, math, biology, and people are using it to... recompile videogames??imagine the deluge of ratchet and clank rivet mod data being sent to Anthropic in order to "improve the model". Couldn't be any better if we tried, lads.
>>749841720>Who the hell keeps trying to make nude mods
>>749841587Anon, the CLASSICS act passed and extended copyright for phonorecords to 110 fucking years (from 95)There have also been repeated attempts to remove safe harbor protections from websites, forcing them to instate web filters (similar to ContentID) to achieve (((notice and staydown))) upload policies (i.e. we report it and if anyone manages to reupload it, we sue you) or suffer from liabilityCopyjew lawyers are working overtime to continue eroding whatever freedoms people have
>>749841298>why can you find people here upset about it as well?I know it's fun to roast stuff on a surface level, I do it too, but it's just trolling, or I thought. If anyone is serious about tossing a whole technology into the trash just because of past shit application, then they're hipster retards and nu-boomers that will switch to supporting it anyway once their favorite fag corporation approves and tried to lock it down from regular people.
>>749841407>lain avatars when their computer aesthetics fetish hangout is being invaded by actual work and progressI know, let’s take a page from the leftist DEI handbook and pretend everyone’s black/indian.
>>749841434Yeah claude is useful but some go the complete opposite direction and treat it like a god tool
>>749842210Blanketing the rapefugee attitude in a veneer of dumb Twitter neo-nazi lingo is not endearing you to me.
>>749842287There's a fucking lot that go the complete opposite direction because they don't have the drive to actually learn any of the skills they covet
Yes this really needed another thread
>>749841254They will try to nickel and dime as much as possible knowing how much we rely on it
>>749841443Funny thing, I used 2 Stalker CoP multiplayer mods and want to use Claude to mod a mod within them.Don't know which one is that, I could recommend both for different reasons: XRMPE: works very well and feels quite balanced, I played it with a full team, we finished the whole game. rarely it would disconnect and crash, but considering it was between a european, a brazilian and 2 americans, the netcode worked very well. The other, Stalker Anomaly, is too hardcore but it can be heavily tweaked pre and postgame if needed.
>>749840918Because their lives revolved around modding or whatever and now a bunch of strangers are popping up doing what they were doing but 1 billion times faster and sometimes better, exciting many people which makes the old modders jealous and salty and then they sperg out. Also like imagine trying to make like a co-op mod, you've been working on it for years and it's at like Version 0.0000001 and sucks ass. Then someone vibe codes it in a day, drops it, and never updates it. This would mindbreak that dude lmao.Or like the Persona 4 fog mod. I don't know how the author feels about AI but he's been making this mod meticulously for years, with the help of a lot of people. AI can probably just copy and past all of the code in like 20 minutes now.Or imagine decompiling/recompiling games, takes you YEARS of high IQ autism. Then AI just sneezes out dozens of them overnight. Or imagine all the TES modders that spent so much time making combat mods trying to fix that shit then someone just copy pastes Good Combat in the game and dabs on every one of them. It's a holocaust for these autists.
>>749843241>a bunch of strangers are popping up doing what they were doing but 1 billion times faster and sometimes betterYeah I'd probably also be mad if a bunch of strangers invaded my community and were obsessed with "results" and showing me up. Pretty classic John Henry story.
how can i port ps3 games to pc
>>749843241>persona 4 fog modwait do zoomers really mod in something that’s already crucial to the plot or is it some sort of retarded rebalance thing
>>749843292>NOOOO NONO YOU CANT CHANGE THE RAINBOW FLAGS!!!
>>749838660So we may soon live in a world where porn games will end up being the ones taking the most effort of all.
>>749843364Nothing about his post was about gay people
>>749843352p4g removed the lighting and fog>>749843292>John Henry is an American folk hero. A Black American freedman, he is said to have worked as a "steel-driving man"—a man tasked with hammering a steel drill (such as a star drill or similar) into a rock to make holes for explosives to blast the rock in constructing a railroad tunnel.do americans really? what the fuck does this mean?but those people are just modding the game same as you, but it's easier now so they're doing a lot of cool shit which damages the fragile egos of many modders. a lot of those kinds of trannies already hated AI because of the art stuff too, so they're just sperging out now because they've basically become irrelevant and that's not even hyperbole.
Funniest thing about the Rivet mod is thst the target audience for it is probably 1000% against AI. You know they fucking dying to play it, but they can't break their performative outrage.
>claude, make this ps4 game work on pc and don't make it emulation/wrapper>on it, my liege>proceeds to make great progress>try something else that should be easier>claude, make this moveset work in this game>sure thing, my liege>proceeds to fuck up profoundlyWhy do I have hyper intelligent claude for one project and retard claude on another?
>>749843450>do americans really? what the fuck does this mean?Read the story, idiot.
>>749843541>fill your head up with jewish propaganda to decipher what some luddite zogbot is trying to say No.
think i'll try get multilplayer on hitman blood money
>>749843620there's more memes than english in this post
>>749841169About a year, maybe more. Depends how desperate Claude gets, or how fast the Chinese can distill Opus.
>>749843241>Then AI just sneezes out dozens of them overnight. Some of them are made so haphazardly that I don't blame them
>>749843639nvm need source code, guess i'll continue working on daggerfall mp
>>749843749People like you never give credit where it's due and you excuse previous similarly shitty results. There are countless "haphazard" releases pre-AI, some people work for years on mods and decomps that are trash and yet they were praised for the effort. But someone that works on it using cool new tech and is also going to continue working on it? >REEEE KILL ALL AI USERZlmao. Not to mention that AI isn't going to stop improving so these kinds of things will get better and better even if the AI users do nothing until a new update. The game has changed and luddites are mad.
>>749843929>and is also going to continue working on it>Not to mention that AI isn't going to stop improvinghehehe this is literally always "two more weeks and we achieve godhood"
>>749844009>AI will stop improving and no one will work on their modsHow does someone get this retarded?
>>749844009yeah sorry blud but they won't stop with opus 5.5, expect opus 7.5 to decompile games fully in a minute.
>>749844096>$65k in token costs later
>>749844009>two weeksNah we're already there. An autist with enough perseverance and passion could do wonders with the current model.
>>749844130an autist with perseverance and passion is probably programming it normally instead of vibe-coding lol
For the first time in years I'm tempted to say that maybe AI isn't that bad
>>749844218Until he gets exposed as either racist or groomer that is
>>749844218He'd be smart enough to wrangle the AI to do exactly what he wants and increase his productivity exponentially
>>749844572he'd be smart enough to tell rangda bangda to kill himself for getting in the way of his perseverance and passion with a stochastic tool
>>749844279It was always fine just don't use it like a retard
>>7498441085.5 is cheaper than previous Opuses. Opii
>>749844748Let the old autists fall behind the curve then if they refuse to adapt
>>749844845oh ok so the autist with perseverance and passion wasn't ever important then and billions of vibe coders will take his place, i see. enjoy the globohomo shitposting anon
>>749844878it's not a battle you faggothttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nyu4u3VZYaQ
