I personally didn't enjoy it a whole lot until peter pan and after, but it's worth for the end and secret cutscene. 2 is way better and l enjoy the rest of the franchise
I don't think I've ever seen anyone say KH1 is good on here. Just that they liked the sovlful dreamy vibe the first game has that the newer games lack.But remember "SOVL" is just a buzzword that means "this isn't very good but I personally like it and it has some unique aspects."

You can go max chaining to do a lot of ground hits then transition into a lot of air hits, max ground, max air, or minimize combos and spam finishers. Also depends on your active drive, Red is almost purely ground combos iirc

This is the only KH game that's close to an rpg and it's progression shows that. People also don't like having to commit when you attack. Just be patient lol!!!!
