I actually really like the puzzles and exploration. It feels SO good when you figure out what to do or where to go. Igavania doesn't really have that and if it does it's something dumb like going back to the npc you haven't visited for 5 hours to get a key item to board a train despite nothing indicating he could help you with that.

I kind of preferred the idea that the Morrises were the rightful heirs (even if the quasi-connection to the Dracula novel doesn't make any sense at all), but obviously games after Bloodlines don't support that and it wasn't intended by Konami even at the time, given the EGM fax (which has a lot of details subsequent games contradict).
