>>749974670The plot is obviously the same - Misaki "saves" Sato. Manga is much darker with extremely overexaggerated characters, basically flanderized. Don't remember much about anime, but i'd say it is much closer to the novel in tone, but with added arcs. I personally prefer the novel as it is the most "realistic" version with no filler arcs.

The anime makes her too nice and interact with Satou too much whereas the manga makes her too psychotic and still interact with Satou too much.In the LN it's almost entirely just Satou alone or hanging out with Yamazaki, it makes it really clear that Misaki just uses him as a glorifed stress relief ball especially when in the ending after they make the contract to prevent each others suicide, she goes back to school and never meets with Satou ever again as she becomes just a normal girl
