I'm gonna say my pieceI lost interest in bio ware games because the games stopped being interesting. Regardless of all the politics, the reasons why I liked the games were being eroded. Dragon Age 2 went from crpg to action game. Mass effect's world building and characters lost all their luster. I gave Andromeda and Inquisition a fair shot but dropped both of them a quarter of the way through, and I haven't played any of their games since as I could tell they were no longer making games for my tastes. They died and I did nothing.
Bioware was always BG/Kotor/Jade Empire to me. I like DA:O and ME1-2 but not as much as their prior games. Inquisiton is when I finally fell completely off the Bioware train. I've been planning on replaying Jade Empire for a while, but I guess I'll finally get around to it now. And the legendary edition of Ass Effect while I'm at it.
