I have no idea why I decided to attack that window. I think huntersdream had gone offline or something and I didn't restart it because I had stopped seeing messages and any online features for a while yesterday night. I imagine if you're online you'll do it because there's a bunch of messages there. But if you aren't, I guess you just do it on a whim? The window looked inviting. But this is not the sort of game where you're usually breaking glass, I can't think of another instance where this is a thing, there's like 5000 glass windows in Yharnam and I guess that is literally the only breakable one.

So really I don't know why I attacked it. I cannot explain.

Are these guys supposed to ever drop gems with 2 good stats on them? I keep hearing about gems with shit like phys atk + atk at max hp + a curse or something like that but I've only ever gotten gems with just 1 positive and 1 curse. There's a bunch of them in the labyrinth, the one in Byrgenwerth obviously came from there. Considering Byrgenwerth's connection to the labyrinth, then you can think up of any reason that makes sense for it to be there. Maybe they brought it back up to study and it just escaped. Maybe they were "communioning" with it. The connection is there, but the specific details is something each person has their own. As is often the case with a lot of souls stuff.

If I recall correctly upgrade materials for weapons up to +9 are easily farmable. The upgrade to get it to +10 (max) I think is only 1 or 2 per playthrough. So you'll get more on ng+1 and so on.

Very few survived, including Micolash's mind, stuck in the Nightmare.

Banishing Mergo from Yharnam though killing his tether, Mergo's Wet Nurse, is the only way to end the beastly scourge and conclude the Hunt. That's your objective throughout the game.

i accidentally managed to summon someone for cleric beast when i started playing yesterday (first time playing, didnt realize what the bell did lmao)
hopefully it wont take too long for hunters dream to get their site sorted out so we can see which areas are active at any given time, like the embers on the bonfire menu in ds3

Never got to play the DLC since I didn't own it on PS4. Glad I'm able to experience it.
