I beat The Phantom Pain a month ago but I'm still obsessed with it. Is this what La Creatividad intended?

>chapter 3 is being worked on
>konami pulls the plug and gives kojima the boot
>game releases with an abrupt end in chapter 2
>players realize that there was suppoed to be a chapter 3, even find the files for it
>kp dev: "kojima-san intended for the game to be released this way. prease understandu"
Never buying another kojimble game

it never leaves bro. the lust for revenge. we will never be whole again.

Oh really? You unlocked the disarmament cutscene?
>>
>>750098098
Chapter 3 is in the game numb nuts
>>
>>750098098
I'm pretty sure Kojimbo got bored half-way through the project admist his job status chaos, so he got done with the game with duct-tape and called it "finished"
>>
>>750098098
Chapters 1 and 2 aren't finished either unless Kojima's vision was the make the open world empty and the enemies devoid of personality all along
MGS1 mogs V so hard on fucking PS1 hardware, without an open world, without Hollywood actors, without face scanning technology and without a radio of licensed nostalgia bait songs
>>
Chapter 3 is a title card and a cutscene of something that is unattainable (every nuclear bomb dismantled)
>Complete nuclear disarmament is an impossibility - Kenneth Baker, ArmsTech President
Chapter 2 is supposed to feel unfulfilling and full of loss because you were conditioned and propagandized to seek revenge, and once you got it theres nothing left but the grind.
The fact that they put the cut content on disc at launch was a genius way of enhancing this feeling of loss.
>>
Chapter 2 is FOB focused, hence why the title card is Race (Nuclear Arms Race)
This is confirmed by the Chapter 3 ending only being unlocked by bringing the nuke count to Zero
In the process you lose everything and are awash with a phantom pain
You want things to be like how the were in Chapter 1, but you had to get your revenge didnt you? Now look where you are.

That's some retarded ass cope, even chapter 1 felt retarded because the big bad died in a car accident after babbling somr nonsense in a car.
Despite this game being genius it gave me zero motivation for me to want to seek revenge on the goofy Saturday morning cartoon villain too, if you want to pull shit out of your ass about feeling loss, shouldn't the game also provide me with the feeling of wanting to seek revenge?
inb4 this is another 4D chess because Venom isn't the real BB so this weird feeling you get from terrible character writing is part of genius kojiumbo too, that point is moot btw because you shouldn't even feel loss if you weren't motivated for the revenge.
>>
Peace Walker's final chapter had the exact same structure as MGSV's final chapter and people actually think this is a complete accident.
They think the feeling of emptiness is a complete accident.
They think they're feeling a Phantom Pain by complete accident
>>
>"the open world is empty"
The map is a series of connected outposts for the main story. The only reason you should be going into the open world is for soldiers and resources for your Mother Base and FOB
What do you actually want? Question marks on the map? Merchants who sell potions lmfao?

MGS2, which Kojima wanted to be his final MGS ended with the players identity as Raiden being discarded and Liquid stealing a Metal Gear and the plot being left unresolved
His final entry has Big Boss betray the player, by affirming their identity as Snake and Liquid steals a Metal Gear and the plot is left unresolved
Its kino

Snake mogs Venom since Metal Gear.

>Kojima burns through the budget with only half of chapter 1 complete
>asks for more just to pay some stupid hollywood actors
>Konami knew it was gonna be another flop like MGS4 but more expensive
>Kojima intended for the game something stupidly expensive and retarded please understandsu
>Sony ends up paying the big bucks just to kick him out as well giving konami the reason

>it gave me zero motivation for me to want to seek revenge
You're supposed to want revenge on him for the destruction of your Peace Walker MSF Mother Base and the brutal, inhumane torture, literal rape and murder of Paz and Chico. Ground Zeroes was supposed to give you burning desire for revenge.

But it's kinda never brought up in TPP again. Like, there's a hidden optional Paz quest on the medical platform (the single best part of the game that blows everything else out of the water, the one time the game successfully conveyed the themes of loss and phantom pain) that requires you to collect memento photos by doing the wandering mother base soldiers side ops, but the very fact that it's optional and has no impact on main missions, and can be missed means that Kojimbo didn't deem it "important" enough for the plot, even though that was literally the fucking catalyst of the story and the single most important thing that led to all of these events in V, and the only fucking real memory Venom Snake has left, and the one time he was given a shred of characterization.

So Paz and Chico are barely mentioned, maybe like twice throughout the entire main campaign in some fucking non-yellow unrelated cassette tapes. Miller kinda seethes about the destruction of MSF a bit throughout the story, and the idea is that since he's supposedly your "friend", you should feel the need to help him fulfill his revenge, but your character kinda doesn't give a shit, he's an autistic mute and doesn't react to anything, which makes it feel disconnected.

Instead, the game wasted your time on VOCAL CORD PARASITES WOLBACHIA COPULATION MALE TO FEMALE I WAS BORN IN A SMALL VILLAGE SANS LINGUA FRANCA WORDS THAT KILL and Kojimas cringe infatuation with that ugly no-name Dutch C-list actress wearing bikini and shoving her ass in your face (you'll be ashamed of your words and deeds), which resulted in one of the worst characters in MGS that Kojima really wanted you to take seriously.

People think this is what an unfinished Metal Gear game looks like.
They actually think MGSV's main story was supposed to be 80 hours long.
Ubisoft has completely mindbroken these people.
>>
>Play a game
>Its almost good but not quite
>Get a nagging phantom pain over what could've been
And people think Kojima didn't make the game bad on purpose lol
>>
>>750102307
Qrd?
>>
>>750104181
Maybe you'd have a point of that 80 hours didn't consist of repeating generic barely developed missions devoid of any unique elements at all.
>>
At the end of the game we hear a conversation between Miller and Ocelot about Big Boss building his nation separately. Miller states that his motivation for helping Venom is to send Big Boss to hell.
This could only have taken place after Phantom Limbs as Miller is heard using his stick to walk, the Skulls took his arm and leg when they ambushed him and his men before handing him off to the Soviets.
Miller knew immediately that Venom wasn't Big Boss.
So the conversation took place between Phantom Limbs and A Hero's Way.
Which means Miller was putting on a performance the entire game, just like Ocelot.
Huey was the only one not deceiving you.

All of the missions are fantastic, varied and have a heap of missable dialogue if you just retard mode tranq everyone
Not to mention that most of the missions are recontextualizations of prior moments in the Metal Gear series, like The Bionics Engineer echoing Sokolov, the Red Brass commanders being the Ocelot Unit, the Honey Bee being the Davy Crokett etc theres soo much of that in each mission.

MGSV is the XOF to MGS2's FOX
>>
>>750096815
No, you didn't beat it.
>>
>>750103541
I agree with you but even ignoring all of that the game's theme on revenge is weak as fuck.
>MSF destruction was Kaz's fault for bringing heat to the base in the first place via PW incident
>Who cares about war crimes in MGS when even your buddy Ocelot and Strangelove enjoys torture
>Chico is an annoying prick that got captured because he was being retarded AGAIN
>Paz is a backstabbing whore that did the "I got captured and raped" schtick AGAIN. This time Snake seems annoyed about rescuing her again because she's no longer the innocent school girl.
I guess you could say they were trying to explore something about misdirected hatred, but it just went nowhere because Snake seemed like he was aware about all of that, and he only seeked skull face because that was his job.
Imagine being a clown that starts babbling about muh LOSS over this nonsense, as if they are cursed to only talk through the meme comic.

MGSV is a satire of The War On Terror (Ground Zeroes is 9/11 btw for all you media illiterate MGSV haters)
