The hair textures are pretty funny.

You will spend a lot of time in playable cutscenes autowalking to your destination. Focus Mode removes any semblance of spacing and positioning. It also lets you create and destroy wounds in an instant. Don't be surprised if monsters spend the entire hunt knocked down. You will probably not like Nata.

I didn't like it.

Worst in the series, im too lazy to write every complaint I have but its ugly, runs like shit, autoplays itself, and has a horrendous forced story.

Just grab iceborne or sunbreak, though iceborne is filled with unskippable cutscenes and sunbreak has crazy shit that might turn you off + a couple mandatory bad tower defense quests.
they go on sale for cheap and run on old pcs fairly well too

Its fine, but it took all the worst aspects from World and Rise and made a game so mind numbingly bleh that its one of if not the worst in the series.
On its own ignoring the rest of the series, game's fine, has some neat lore ideas mixed in with a bad story that does the retarded walk and talk segments, the majority of the game is WAY too easy from LR to HR and doesn't really pose a challenge until the very end, and only if you actively seek that challenge out.
A part of the issue is that they give you, the player, so many tools and options with your weapon moveset and overall armor build that it makes you an unstoppable killing machine, meanwhile the majority of monsters feel like they weren't properly designed with those said tools and options kept in mind.

Ugly as a shit, runs like shit, story is shit, Nata is fucking annoying but it has the best version of HH bar none and cool new monster skeletons, like the Octopus so I am willing to give it a pass.

Game is also piss easy until the tail end of High Rank, but Savage Omega was a lot of fun and all the subsequent released hunts were more challenging, so I feel like they are genuinely trying to course correct, so I am optimistic for Master Rank.

I would buy it if it is on sale, but not for full price.
