He could be alive by that point, however it'd be extremely unlikely. Some of the ME5 promo material had images of a Krogan Civil War. Either that's being led by Wrex, Wrex dies during it, or it's a result of Wrex's death. Either way it'd be possible but unlikely. And then grunt who knows his lifespan, being a test tube baby but it's possible he could live his full 3000 years of natural max life.
