It's mediocre and has nothing interesting to show. On paper it was exactly what needed to be done: mainline ME was scorched earth and no amount of retcon would fix the absolute mess it became, and how they turned a series that was into interesting space mysteries and politics from ME1 into Evil PMC in space the game in the sequels.The issue is that they had zero zero talent for a long time by now so there's just no way they could pull an interesting fresh entry into this universe.
