>>750245187Yeah, I played both on release and honestly I enjoyed them quite a bit, the original was the best action based MMO out there at the time and I'd go as far as to say that its better than the spammy eye cancer shit that other action combat MMOs turned into.It's just that you really did feel like you hit a p2w wall at some point and the community gatekept much of the content while the game itself constantly pushed for this too because of massive dps checks. Neo was somehow even worse in that regard, played it on release and its gatekeeping was way worse than Aion 2. Mind you, Aion 2 is way easier with its PvE content but holy shit, its not like BnS Neo early/mid tiers were that hard yet the people gatekept entry level shit like it was the toughest content. The new enhanced skill system was pure cancer too, it was sold as an improvement over the original but I found it harder to get blue skills because you couldn't do much with the Auction House as it was also filled with botting and your farming alternatives were very scarce. And PvP was an imbalanced mess, could barely do anything at all. I do miss my cricket but holy fuck I am not going through it again. I'd have to re-install to see what other outfits I got but I do remember that the ones that weren't from World bosses were stupidly hard to get.
