Bamco is genuinely afraid of their own franchise. Everyone hates tekken 8, even the people who worship it. They just have no other option. Seriously what are your tekken options? 7 and 8? Now compare that to literally every other fighting game franchise. Collections and ports out the ass everywhere because these companies know their fanbase wants to play their games. Bamco is scared because t6 already has like 4× the viewers t8 does. If they ported any other game and gave it solid updated netcode, tekken 8 would die instantly. Veterans have 3, larpers and redditors have 4, pros have 5, casuals have 6, and autistic people have tag 2. Every tekken appeals to someone, except tekken 8. Its a game for fucking nobody
