3D printing also just fucking sucks for mass production. The whole appeal is low early costs make it good for prototyping, but once you make more than a hundred the quality control issues and breakdowns just get insurmountable. This applies to both filament and resin.It's only real space is a cottage industry where you hire a guy to print you little buff pikachu statues and mandalorian helmets.
