>>750180719Playable Ganondorf, work in progress.
I want to make some really uncanny odd and batshit mods. Something that if you showed the uninitiated it would make them doubletake and question why a dev would put that in the game, like editing a movie and torrenting that edit under the movie's name to fuck with people. There's a few levels in Sly Cooper 2 where Carmalita is walking around in the open like other NPCs you have to avoid, you can't kill her. I want Sly to be able to, if properly snuk up behind, to just hold her ass in place and start groping her, maybe rubbing her pussy. I don't need to pull her pants down, but that wouldn't be a dealbreaker. I want it to cause her to deliver voice lines of shock and possibly either damaged/hurt or some other negative voice line that she already uses in game. Maybe it should just be a set animation that lasts 20 seconds or so before you let her go and then just run away like you always do in game, maybe you choose when it ends. I don't want this to accomplish anything, just be some random mechanic.

Text boxes are really hot, she asks for help and you can't move. The Wolfos finish and walk off and they come back so you can loop it, they have like three or four things they can do to her. If you get all the steps right you watch from a closer angle because Link gets jumped from behind and you get to watch with a Wolfos stomping on your head. >>750182216>>750182548If any of these were actually good, people would be posting them. The problem is that people doing this don't carefully wrangle the game into something balanced, fun and consistency functional, as that's hard, and have no clue how to control the actual detailed affect the AI has on the game.Making "do anything" mods is easy, carefully constraining, balancing and integrating things into a game is hard, so these people don't do that.

>>750180719How much would it cost AI to make a game, at least the coding part? What I would want to make is a metroidvania style game (original I know), whose gimmick is completely unknown to the player on a first playthrough, that it is entirely timed, even though the timer is not only NOT shown, but completely random between two sets of time for earliest and latest. And it will deliberately be designed in a way so that if you explore and upgrade yourself, you are also wasting valuable time, and need to absolutely rush through the game. There will be subtle tells, but the game over for the time limit will wipe all of your save data, and will explicitly tell you what happened. But will NOT tell the player that the time limit is randomized, to keep them guessing, as well as force them to always rush and ignore upgrades as much as possible, but also tempting them to use them to have an easier time. It would be teasing and trolling them that they NEED to ignore it, otherwise they are wasting valuable time. And it would also be in a context where a game over like that would be justified.
>>750187087Oh shit, that's cool.
>>750187117You can probably do that with the twenty buck claude sub, art will be an issue, but you can find means around it, I think it's a bit better with 3d than 2d, but it should be doable, just don't expect near pefect results until you spend a few weeks on it or so.
>>750187163I just want a gimmick that would put players and streamers off-guard to the point where they are completely blindsided by that. All while teasing them for exploration solely to get them to get a game over, without them knowing or realizing it.
>>750187217Might be more feasible to make it a deranged metroid romhack then, seems more doable.

>>750187117i changed my mind i hate AI for possibly empowering shite ideas like this...
>>750187267I would actually want to sell it, and actually own a property. And have its own unique art-style that not many games have, which is also justified for its setting. The setting would be several billion years in the future, with the Earth within its final hours, with one commando sent to the now dessicated Earth about to be torn apart from a red giant Sun, all while the very few remaining structures there are occupied by a terrorist organization that stole ONE gamma-ray burst bomb. I would justify that energy constraints as well as the laws of physics being immutable, and "primitive" tools and options, on top of the only means of communication to other systems being tachyons and fabrication of technology and other goods using those instead of physical shipping, the rationale behind its setting, on top of a VERY lengthy backstory and thousands of periods of civilizational growth and decline, where several technologies were lost and found repeatedly. But the real reason is to force a perpetual and extremely excessive bloom effect while outside, with a baked, sterile, dead Earth, as well as the character and enemies silhouetted against the Sun, to make an instantly recognizable image.
>>750187462This sounds like you're trying to make Outer Wilds, but shit.
>>750187407How so? That you are forced to eventually learn that you have a sadistic choice in making the game easy, while wasting time that you don't even know that you have left, or playing it safe and making the game harder for you by intentionally ignoring it?It's you playing the game, before realizing that the game is playing you instead. And both decisions are equally bad. But do you risk empowering yourself at the cost of a randomized time limit, or do you put up with punishing difficulty to rush through things to try to complete the game?
>>750187217>"HEY GUYS REMEMBER HOW REWINDING TIME IN MAJORA REALLY FUCKING SUCKS?!"You're going for shock value for the sake of it because you don't have a legit core gameplay value to sell, abstain or vibecode a movie instead, but you fail to grasp the essence of videogames.
>>750187628How so? That players should be informed at all times instead of learning something the hard way that they don't know to begin with? And must force themselves to take two equally bad outcomes, and be tempted and loaded to waste time as much as possible, but would need to resist it, since it would be next to impossible to 100% complete out of design?
>>750187117>and will explicitly tell you what happenedI feel like you're expecting the player to say >oh, I guess I have X time to beat the game, I wonder how much bonus shit I can get away with *gets fucked*when in reality everyone will just say>huh, guess I have to play as fast as possibleand subvert your mechanic entirely.
>>750187705But I would make the game as punishing as possible for those who would forego upgrades, necessitating they get some of them at least. It's a strict time limit on top of extremely brutal difficulty. The kicker is that the game becomes easy if you actually get the upgrades, but will waste so much time, that it would be impossible to win.
>>750187690"Surprise game over" is not a gimmick, worse, it's punishing players for playing the game at their own pace instead of rushing and taking the time to enjoy the game they bought. There is zero gameplay value in "haha you died", only a distasteful surprise for the sake of one, like how an amateur mangaka goes for a surprise nonsensical plot twist for the sake of one, shallow, uninteresting.
Anyone got working on MGS V yet? Making the different Soviets and Afghans and the different PMC's in Africa actually fight each other, that sort of thing?
>>750187773A majority of people beat Elden Ring without using half the mechanics, and that game has no time limit discouraging it.
Do I need the sub to do anything at all? Paying the 20 bux just to try to implement proper resolution/UI scaling and zoom levels in Red Alert 2 so it stops looking like it's made for ants at 1080p seems like a waste
>>750187775They will be informed exactly what happened on the Game Over screen, and that all save data will be deleted to prevent an unwinnable state. And will tell them to play again. The game won't take too long, to not lose too much progress, and encouraging as many playthroughs as possible. Between 4 to 6 hours, from game start to game over.
>>750185813False. I have been hand-making little games and mods for 20 years. They are better than anything you have access to. I will never share them. Just because it's easier and faster to do this today, doesn't mean you get to play the things made by me, for me, and nobody else. You literally do not deserve to play my handmade versions of Elf Slave Milking Tycoon or my Megaman clone based on Final Fantasy 6 with magicite. You do not deserve to play neither my RPG Maker 2003 Starcraft RPG nor my Heavy Gear RPG. So why do you think you deserve to play the ones that I didn't have to sink weeks or months of time into? Did you marry a woman and decide that she's good so that you're gonna let every person on the planet empty their nuts in her?You are a mind-broken zoom zoom if you think that I am required to waste my life presenting all of my works for you to play. You don't get to do that. You are allowed the privilege of playing MY stuff if, and only if, I decide to share it with you. And I do not, and neither does the vast majority of people who make stuff they want to keep for themselves.
>>750185924No, even most leftists give AI decomps and mods a pass.

>>750187893So you have to lose first to progress the game, lmao. And having to constantly rush murders the prospect of exploration and leisure. This isn't fun this is just... work, you're just charging to race against metrics outside of work.

>>750188097Going out in a time limited situation is not exploring w it's just doing what needs to be done to progress.Exploration is going out and do stuff because you want to, not because you need to.You at least understand that fun is born out of progression through restrictions, but having to constantly rush through what you need to do or not able at all to do what you want to do because of restrictions is straight up not fun, it's just frustrating for the sake of frustration, again, make a movie or something instead. What you're offering is the opposite of the point of videogames, you're killing off interactivity.
>>750187994FYI when it comes to game design with AI art is where you will have all the issues. On its own Claude can make a fantastic atari looking game from scratch unless you have art assets you get bottle necked
>>750188153I tried making LLMs do a serious infographic about the state of the US economy for this month, using the latest data, but also stylized it in a way that a 6 year old would doodle in crayons, while keeping the data absolutely correct, while making AI have the presentation be as accurate as possible to what a 6 year old would draw and write, complete with randomly misspelled words, reversed letters, and having each and every letter look different, and not having a single straight line in site, as well as having unnecessary and pointless crayon drawings as well. The LLMs had a fit, since they are trying to make the presentation of the data itself look stupid and unintelligent and trying to be like what a child would do. Conflated with actual government data. But LLMs had a major fit when trying to do an authentic a job as a child's crayon drawing and intentional spelling errors. It's MUCH harder than you realize, especially since they all try to force the text in the same font with no variance with the letters, and trying to keep as many straight lines as possible.
>>750188192I don't understand how that is retarded? I have asked Claude to do things that it rejected like once I tried to use midis from older games and it refused to due to copyright claims so you guys have no issues modding snes roms?

>>750189289Funnily enough, the opposite is true. The reason why so much AI stuff is literal slop is because the talentless people literally don't know enough to understand why what they generated isn't good. This is the main reason why you see so much art with the wrong number of fingers, or shading in the wrong direction, or broken anatomy, etc. It's not because the AI can't do those things correct (it can, trivially). It's because the people generating it literally cannot physically notice those things to instruct the AI to correct it.Talent decides which is better when both are generating off the same idea.

>>750196081>also free models will be on the level of current claude in 6-12 monthsThis "look how fast" argument is easily the most insidious lie these shills have come up with. As though the difference between free local AI and frontier AI, or 4 years ago AI and today AI, is that it's gotten "better". It hasn't. LLMs haven't meaningfully improved in architecture since the Attention paper. They aren't better, they're just bigger. They're just using exponentially more resources to train and run inference on. It's not a question of technological advancement, only a question of how many capex dollars these lunatics can scam people into lending them.In 2022, LLMs were pic related. And we all laughed them chewing up the bag of oranges and producing 3 drops of juice. So what these companies have done is they've shown us the thing producing a gallon of juice and said>look how much it's improved!when in reality they just scaled the fucking machine up to the size of an airplane hangar and dump in 4000 pounds of oranges an hour to feed it, but they do it off-site instead of in the room with you. It isn't any better at all. They've just hidden the ways it's worse. But understanding this requires you have more than two brain cells to rub together, which makes it very impressive to people whose brains are barely functional, like boomers and brown people. This technology isn't getting any better. The local models aren't going to "catch up". This is not a question of the technology improving, it's simply a question of scale.
>>750195978Local models are just months behind the online ones. This is here to stay.

>>750196196Then why could I only gen bad AI pics on my local model 3 years ago, and now I can gen great pics?
>>750196269No, it's not, and just pointing to historical examples of times people were wrong about technology does not change the issue. This is, objectively, simply scaling up. If there's been a meaningful advancement in LLM technology since the Attention paper, point me to it. I know there was one company trying to use diffusion algorithms instead of the standard transformer architecture but I don't think anything came of it and anyway it has nothing to do with Astra, Claude, etc.Your brain is pattern-matching this shit onto Moore's law but that's wrong. We aren't getting better at producing components or developing algorithms and optimizing the tech to be more capable with each iteration. We are literally just increasing the number of parameters and training examples. That's it. This is the same technology we've been using since 2017, nothing is changing, we're just going from 175B parameters to 775B parameters to 1.75T parameters and on and on, and each time the capability of the machine increases. Because of course it does, a neural network is a universal function approximator, the more parameters it has the better it can model anything. And the problem is, inference isn't profitable. This shit still costs more than it earns per token. And that matters because if the technology isn't improving, as in becoming more efficient within the same cost space, it's just getting bigger, that means each new generation gets more expensive to run, rather than less. Each new iteration of this technology becomes a bigger and more unsustainable resource drain>b-but but butEvery one of these companies is at least tens of billions, if not hundreds of billions, in the red on their balance sheets. Every one of them aggressively rate limits the use of frontier models and tries to shunt you off into lower-cost models which are also rate limited. Every use sucks money out of their pockets.

>>750196631As long as scale is "the biggest lever" my point remains valid. Scraping up 2% efficiency improvements with better harness training and other such shit isn't changing the fundamental reality, and it is reality, that the reason Opus 5.6 is better than Opus 5 is not because Anthropic made a breakthrough in LLM architecture, it's because they spent 10x as much this year on hardware to scale up the size of the model.
>>750196696>>750196935Nta but you're both retards, the point is that unlike the internet who had massive changes to the components and technology that made it work(you're probably not old enough to remember the old internet that made funky noises when connected), AI hasn't seen any of that which is why it relies on massive data centers and are essentially resource sinks with no real profitability as of yet, obviously it has a better output than it did before when we weren't dedicating entire cities worth of resources to keep it running. The point isn't that it doesn't produce results but that the entire model isn't sustainable in the long run and it isn't.

so you retards clapping that you've inserted megaman into some other game realise this is all a psyop to give the legal arguments to bypass any regulation on moving literally everything to server side cloud computing, right? you literally won't be able to by the components to do any of this offline in the next 5 years, and all AI models will refuse prompts/laws brought in to prosecute you if you use qwen locally to circumvent copyright. but hey, at least you got to play as minecraft steve in skyrim?

>>750197486Provide me some evidence to the contrary. Either parameter count goes up, or the architecture changes to use more tokens in "thinking" per response, either way it amounts to the same thing, capability is scaling directly with cost. If it wasn't profitable in 2018 it isn't going to be profitable in 2028. This is an unsustainable technology.Anyone arguing it isn't unsustainable is free to explain why in the actual fuck every company in the space is hemorrhaging money while simultaneously turning down customer spend when they hit their usage limits. The question is, if you make money on each addition token, why are you limiting token generation to paying customers? Is negative $100BN "enough profit" and you don't want to be greedy?Even Deepseek rate limits. And it's an open source model so I don't want to hear a bunch of speculative shit about "protecting their IP from distillation/scraping" or whatever, Deepseek is an open-source "we scraped your model to make our model" and you could use that to explain why frontier models would engage in SOME kind of rate limiting (even if the current break points are hilariously low and regularly impact actual paying users) but it doesn't make sense for an open weight model to do it.

>>750199618they're "losing money" from capital expenditure for datacenter buildout, not from inference. i myself am skeptical that they will be able to keep up with the expense because I doubt that general users will have much demand for the intelligence levels between "opus 5.5" and "literally god" so anthropic et al might very well get their lunches eaten by open source once it reaches opus 5.5 intelligence. but inference is just plainly profitable (for now), you can estimate the cost of running the models yourself and compare it to openrouter prices
>>750200179another issue I see is the value generated is software people can buy, but if anyone can produce the software the value of that software will trend towards 0
>>750200179>they're "losing money" from capital expenditure for datacenter buildout, not from inferenceEXPLAIN THE RATE LIMITSThis is the biggest issue. If you believe that it's capex that costs, and that they're all racing each other to build the biggest and bestest model so they can corner the market and start turning an actual profit, why are they turning AWAY actual profit? Why do they say>your enterprise can use Opus 5.6 for a maximum of $200k a month. Then we're cutting you off.If a business wants to spend more money than that on Opus, if a business is saying "we are getting value from this product as it exists and we want to pay you more for more usage", Anthropic says "no, wait for next month".The number of reasons to do that is very close to zero. The best explanation is that your $200k monthly spend is lower than the cost they incur from providing you with the service it paid for. They let you run the subsidized model for a while but eventually you become too expensive and they cut you off. They want you to see value in the model, they want you to like using it and shout its utility from the rooftops, but they don't want you to use it more than absolutely necessary to maintain that enthusiasm. Because it's costing them money for you to use it. Your enthusiasm buys more investor dollars.Again, every single provider in this space does this rate limiting of both personal and enterprise accounts. Go to any vibe general on /g/ and it's 25% rate limit whining posts. This is The Whole Story. People pay for the service, want to pay MORE for more of the service, and the provider says "nah".

>>750185813i did actually post a few of mine on nexus, thankfully i know a bit of coding and how the game i play works to make them cool, troubleshoot and get rid of bugs in the mods i make, but the thing is my mods usually end up as such feature creeping monstrous amalgamations of a bunch of ideas that i don't think many people would actually be interested in them, and they don't have any customization to them because i just make how i want them to be and that's that. i also tend to rip other people's code for parts to draw features i want or solutions to bugs i can't solve myself, and modders are a really whiny bunch when it comes to permissionslast time i posted one i spent like an hour trying to write a description to explain what the fuck does it do and list credits for code examples, and i just thought "the fuck am i doing this for anyway?" i think i'm just gonna save them on a cloud storage somewhere in case i lose them and leave it at that

>>750204512When there's a limited amount of gasoline available, prices rise. This is how the price mechanism works when demand exceeds supply. If the issue is there's more demand for inference compute than they can supply, prices should go up to move it towards the highest utility users until the generation of new compute catches up in pursuit of that high margin. But new compute isn't coming online because there isn't demand for its use. Which means that they're struggling to retain new users even at the current price point. They're not at compute capacity but they're rationing it like they are. Because at the current price point they're losing money per-use, but if prices go up they lose users.

But too many people are just rolling with the first results of their prompts and rushing these out the door with no quality checks or oversight. Off topic but I watched a review of the 8 bit guy's AI "movie" that everyone's been laughing at, and it showed that with better writing and some basic edits, you could turn pure slop into a mildly entertaining B movie. But 8 bit boomer decided to rush it out in a week just because he could. My hope is that after this current craze, the projects where people are actually giving a shit and taking the time to use these tools properly rise up to the top, and all the current rushed slop gets forgotten. I'm sure we'll see some very high quality mods and fan translations before too long after the current rush of lazy people have their fun.

>>750208759It's an optional mod for DevilutionX that makes dungeons play more like the old Atari game Gauntlet. The rogue shoots moderately weak but endless arrows, the sorcerer shoots powerful projectiles that slowly deplete his mana, and the warrior just slowly hacks through enemies with double his original damage output. Everyone's health is slowly depleted, so the meta becomes a race to find viles of health/mana potions instead of loot. It's just for the dungeons though. I thought it would be too difficult to balance the gameplay in the overworld, so it's more of a proof-of-concept at the moment. >>750215767You could probably get it check if anything exists for tooling already and get it to advise you how to do it before spending money
>>750184339wait you can make porn games with that? can you make licensed non-VN porn games?
>>750215580why is neru like that
>>750189496the bike levels are literally hitler
>>750187117That's psychotic but i respect anything that fucks with metroidvania fans. Personally for a few years I've wanted to make a score attack metroidvania where time is a big scoring component, just so i can flash a big RANK: F notification at the very end when the dipshit player has spent hours exploring everything
>>750213921No you don't get it, I pointed Claude to the SoH GitHub, it cloned it all on its own, then sent me every new appimage and o2r for testing. On my end I only have those files + my own install of SoH.I was both the orchestrator and the tester.
>>750215923sounds like a plan.i'll give it some more thought and wait for that ACVD recomp from Natsu before I go further, that'll make things much easier
>>750214430Litter allows for bigger filesizes. You're the idiot who can't apply a patch.
>>750215580>setup system prompt to turn claude into your loli coding gf who wears diaperso this is the power of prompt engineering
My sense of artistic description and data structures is apparently fucking awesome, though I'm limited by a lack of higher programming knowledge. Just sitting there and constructing the perfect gunshot, or level up effect, is awesome. I have this revolver gunshot effect I've tuned to really pop off with certain reverb effects, and 'make the xp give 9 points and every time the experience meter overflows, increase its total by 1.15% and vibrate the screen with a pink iridescent inner glow effect from the borders that gives a deafening sound of avalanche which fades in and then out over 1.5 seconds' produced fucking awesome results. Feels like a shot of heroin
>>750180719Has anyone used ai to decompile and optimize a game and increase its fps cap? My first thought was to fix nioh 3 awful performance and make it run around 240 fps
>>750188635Sounds like a plan for the future, I'll make a note.
>>750216795aitard from the wo long thread (am asuming you're from there)Don'tJust fucking don't.Nioh 3 is shit due to the engine - you're not decompiling and optimizing, you're decompiling, making a new engine, removing a shit load of graphical shit like shadows, full texture rendering of distance shit, etceven then the CPU will be the bottleneck due to it rendering the entire fucking playable area at once basedour CPU gets raped with the physics and ai
>>750214971why
>>750216795you might be better off just making a performance mod instead, that's far too much
>>750217147universal limit of coolness. It's basic physics
>>750216795i have yea, not decompile but recompile, basically just told claude to inject as many performance monitors as he could, give me a key to start a heavy capture, then identify the bottlenecks and fix, and identify gaps in data and ask for more captures
I am so proud of the work we're doing here, lads.
>>750190157>MMX Mavericks Extra Episode
>>750181074might give this a try. I enjoyed RDR2's gameplay but couldn't stick with it for more than a few hours due to how awful the story was. Freeplay mods are my jam.
Was thinking of combining great shooting with a good wave based game, might try to put MGS4 Snake into Risk of Rain 2 (MGSV would be ideal but maybe too much of an ask). You think I could get God Hand out of an iso?
I don't understand you Skate fags, THPS is way more fun

>>750184339>zero proof other than "it works guys trust"At least post a screenshot of a couple of prompts or something...
>>750216353Unless you were using a cloud version of Claude (probably not because it doesn't do shit like that and doesn't manipulate files) it cloned the shit onto your drive somewhere.Otherwise people would be using Claude for free cloud storage
>>750211614Dumbass
>>750211962He slaughters bosses but stages are kind of a pain since they clearly lay things out for you to shoot them from a distance.
>>750218149I was though, I was using it through my phone browser instead of my pc on terminal.Made things really easy, after each round it would send new versions of the new files, then all I did was slide them into my pc folder via wifi, test, and come back to Claude with feedback.
>>750210975>>750212131Good fucking shit. How's the online though? I've been stuck on the 3ds citra version for a while because of that and most importantly the fps fixes.
>>750180719I bene thinking of doing something like that, making a full rom conversion of Castlevania 1 or 3 depending of the complexity of what i think could be done, but all the art, music, sprites, and tilesets will ne done by me, also plan to change the flow between the engine, when you beat stages, and have two selectable characters.do i need a dissasamble or source code of the game or just the ROM?For nametable and CHR editing i am considering using this website app, but i need a level editor.
>>750215239oh you're the frontier schizoi remember you
>>750214026You might need to make it game specific. Updating the individual tile art is one thing, but you have to account for tile mapping too as well as any compression the game might use.
Got euphoria physics working in Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Currently tuning it now
>>750216993>>750216795realistically what you could do even if you didn't touch the performance of the game is patch out all the functions in nioh 3 that use fixed timestep (the 30, 60, 120 fps cap in the settings) and make it truly dynamicAI is really good at churning through a big binary blob like that and finding all the relevant stufffor example my PC is good enough to run nioh 3 at around 90-100fps but since I can't hold 120 I get slowdowns and other bullshit
I guesstimate they don't cotton to freaks 'round these parts...
>>750218912huhhahtaste the pain
I think its super cool we have so many more people fucking around with modding. AI reslly rocks
>>750218608glad to have been of help those years back, but it was funny seeing that shit happened in /mhg/ lolrise so bad people went to go play Frontier instead
>>750219110do you have any updates on what happened with fist and his sycophants? i'm 4 years out of the loop with mh shit
>mod was incompatible with another mod I really enjoy>Told Claude to make them compatible>Works like a charm I kneel to AI.

>>750219180fist seethed the entire time, nothing elsehe's reinstated his guide site after much dicksuckingsekaiwish (the guy who does Erupe) let a known-kicked-out-from-fist's-cubby member Houmgaor have master control over the Erupe repo cuz he asked nicely, ended up vibecoding every update, erasing credited work, and breaking more things than he fixed, then he publicly archived Erupe and now everyone is just telling people to use pre-Houmgaor 9.3 betasoutside of that, not much as sekaiwish does work on the refactored Erupe repo, Alpelo.
Can you mod Rampage World Tour to have more giantesses and giving Lizzie a belly yet?
>>750219310Also great to merge a bunch of super minor fix mods into just one mod so your mod list isnt obnoxious
>>750219310merging isn't that hard sometimes, it's just figuring out what can and can't be overwritten
>Nigger modders make their mods closed source>claude reverse engineers them anywaysYou will own everything and you will be happy.
>>750219382Yeah hope megamodlist authors will actually take advantage of thay so there isnt a need for hundreds of super tiny mods that need a nexus click through
Is it true that recompiling to Rust as a target is a good idea because the compiler can spit out errors perfectly for the AI to act on compared to C or C++?
lmao last placed I expected AI to be usedhttps://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3820583647"AI DISCLOSURE: This map was 100% generated by AI using custom skills and a custom harness plugin. The map, Steam page, play testing, scripting, Easter egg (where present), and all map creation work were completed 100% by AI. No human intervention was used in this creation process, and not even a single button in Radiant was pressed."
>>750217868Anon, you don't need to be a programmer, have a bunch of experience, or a bunch of time. just do it with AI, it's not hard to figure out.>inb4 people are getting too lazy and dependent to even use AI to do/make what they wanthahaha........
>>750219691It'll figure out he C/C++ errors too. The good thing about rust is the memory safety / ownership rules so the LLM deals with the difficulty of making code that compiles and it's much less likely your slop is filled with memory leaks.
Kimi K3.1 Pro seems to be opus 5.5 level bros. Open weights on the 5th but the price through kimi seems decent
>>750209484>what are you doingPut Sonic in SMWPorting pokecrystal, Resident Evil, and MGS VR Missions to snesNative back-compat on a fat PS2 from a MX4SIO sd cardPorting Time Crisis 2 to DreamcastFixed blueretro connectivity to NSO gamecube controller Native dualsense haptics in RDR2Original camera/controls in Silent Hill 2 remake>which subscription do you have5x max, but capability isn't the limit with Pro, just tokens/time>does it seem to be workingYesYesYes but it requires a boot disc for exact disc read timing, the resident loader is as small and optimized as it can be which can impact FMVs. The Ember project on psx-place is still more promising.Working on it, waiting for a new lightgun but nailing down framerates and optimal disc reads in the meantimeYesYesGot the first area done but there's a lot of manual work to line up areas with the original camera logic. Was more of a 'is this possible' thing, and it is.

are there any changes this technology is ever going to be used in optimizing games?
>>750220189>MHFU>Native PC gameplay at the original 30 FPS, with optional experimental interpolation.classic lazy HUEmonkeys fags, it takes a few rounds of optimization to get claude to fix it>t. got Coded Arms to run at 60
>>750220410Sure, I'll record a short clip after the next Claude run. We're finalizing a mute music option in the launcher now. Last round also finally blended gene's arm properly, I had to get in and make a texture myself to get it right.Hard difficulty is selectable off the bat, Xavier looks right-ish, so I'm either going to start my testing playthrough finally or spend more time on Xavier to the tune of swapping Gene's combat lines, but that's a bigger project.
>>750220473It's just bad wording. The fags doing the p3rd also used the same terminology but I recorded a 120fps video and every frame is unique. I guess it just takes two keyframes from the animation data and interpolate even more points between them. In the end there's no input delay or anything and it really is truly smooth.
>>750220473>>750220796usually at high framerates all animations increase in speed proportional to the increased speed did they actually fix thatthe peacewalker collection version didn't fix this for example so los/tig/gear rex all play their animations double speed and it looks stupid as hell
>>750217882need to make a krystal sex minigame
>>750220796That looks awful to me, as if something is wrong with my eyesSame happened when i tried milds framegen they did fix it though>>750221096The same goes for coded arms, the game runs at 20 fps but after a few runs and debug hooks he got everything that was running at 20 and turned into 60 without speeding it upI'd post a video but i'm out of usage and the graphics and some physics are broken
>>750221259but it's really not framegen...
which one should I be using?
>>750221259yea clod can fix animation stepping easily, either globally or per system no issue, but generally the retarded brazilians that make this shit don't even notice the doubled speedthey've been shilling fu 60fps patches like this for years
>>750221304Medium and sonnet for most thingsOpus is a meme for what the average tard is doingUltracode will max your usage in like a minute due to how it works (it basically creates hundreds of AI agents working instead of just one)
>>750221302I know i know, just making an example>>750221304Medium unless it's getting stuck somewhere>>750221360Yea that annoys me to no endi should get him to fix the MHGU one since it breaks the small lava leviathan that i forgot the name of
I'm having claude recreate the roguelike murloc mode from this video. The basic framework seems okay so far, I can be a murloc (hostile to everyone, friendly to murcs) with custom race/class/talent/spells/etc. When I die I get sent back to a little hub where it shows how the run went, and can start another. Playerbots are running around doing their thing without being broken, and they attack me.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fwaiQtcKzk8
has anyone experimented with AI to add more graphic options like disable bloom for example?
