Yo, FUCK this game! I'm just chilling minding my own business upgrading all my road tiles to railroads, then suddenly out of literally fucking nowhere the god damn Byzantines send about a hundred or more units right to my front door and push my shit in. I spent what seemed like 5 minutes waiting for all the animations of the calvary and infantry men to play out as they march up to my border city and then declare war on me completely unprovoked. My three or four riflemen in that city did what they could, killing several of the attackers, but they couldn't possibly defend the city from the fucking hundred or so stacks of military units they were up against. I don't even share a border with the Byzantines. They're on the other side of the continent and had to march through lands belonging to both the Greeks and Portuguese to get to me. I know I can ask for a military alliance with them, but this is fucked up man. I'm used to the AI declaring war on me for not wanting to hand them over my luxuries, but at least then I have time to prepare for an invasion. What the fuck am I supposed to do, just constantly have about a 100 riflemen sitting in every single border city I have and bankrupt myself from all the unit maintenance costs just in case some schizo empire decides to blitzkrieg me for no fucking reason?I'm so fucking mad right now. I now know how a rape victim feels like.
