>His PC build has a current market value of less than $3000
>his PC boots on the first tryngmi
I unironically don't know what my PC parts do, I just buy whatever is cheap, put it together and play whatever works on it which is usually most things I am interested in, like 95.99% of them. It just werks. If it doesn't, it probably wasn't worth playing anyway.
>>750189019>Through no wise choices on his part, anons current build now has a market value of around $25000
I have to manually spin the CPU fan when I boot it up because it doesn't start spinning by itself, if I don't it gets too hot and shuts down
>>750189190kinda based
>>750189342>applied for priority access>never got the email>buy a 5090 and 96gb of ram right before prices went retarded>THEN get the priority access email>passed on it>could've had a free build if i had just bought it and held and soldfug im just praying daily that my parts don't crap out because lord knows they're gonna deny any RMA requests
If your pc was worth >5k and you were smart (which you aren't), you'd sell your pc and buy a ddr4 shitbox with a 3070ti. But who am i kidding, your retarded cattle
>>750189485>your>calls others cattle while phonepostinglel
>>750189019let me guess, you need more
damn, just looked up the price of the RTX 5070I bought this thing last summer for 10% under MSRP when everyone was talking about how trash the card ismanaged to snag one of the last 5800X3Ds a few years back as wellthese should last me a long time I hope
>>750189190>throws a bunch of parts together>it just worksYou might be a Mekboy
This is like house prices. On paper you're rich when they go up, but you can't sell your house because then you wouldn't have a house
>>750189525SHUSH, cattle. Lower you're steam license when talking to you're superiors
>>750189460Im you with 192gb of RAM.I cant sell my spare RAM though. Prices are high but no buyers
>>750190695yeah even if prices are high i'd be scared to sell anything online because if it was a gpu they'd just strip the core and ram and ship it back saying, "oh well it doesn't work :^)" and if u sold in person you'd have to make sure u don't get robbed at gunpoint or follow-home burglarized
>>750189019When I built mine 3 years ago I randomly went overkill on DDR5 Ram and got 64GB which is currently worth over 1000€ by itself
>bought PC for around $2000>probably over $3000 now
>>750189019I have some Mario and Pokémon roms so that means my PC is valued at a gazillion dollars
is this where the pc space is right now? treating it like some sort of economic asset? what's next, we're going to put a mortgage on our PC?
