bioware, you'll be missed
it's the end of the line ;_;

Will they actually be missed?

That was not BioWare.
The moment the actual veterans that were responsible for the old hits like the first two BGs, Neverwinter Nights games, the Mass Effect Trilogy, friggin KoTOR and Jade Empire all left and in their place came a bunch of incompetent activists was the day BioWare died.
What really died now was a skinwalker wearing its hide.

The OG Mass Effect team that created the first two games, and the original core Dragon Age team that was on the first 3 Dragon Age games, yeah. I'll miss those.

BioWare started to suck in between then and many idiot designers and idiot writers started joining but i still cared while people like Drew Karpyshyn or Chris L'Etoile or David Gaider was there. Or Casey Hudson on Mass Effect etc.

So BioWare 2007-2011 was pretty good. DA2 was fine by me but I wasn't heavily invested in Dragon Age the same way as Mass Effect even though DAO seemed unbelievably large to me in 2009 and I almost couldn't believe after playing ME2 that another extremely huge game "by the same company" had also just come out in 2009.

Those days were golden. I was at a pre-college thing they do in the nordics like a 10th grade boarding school, a year with no parents, and teen shenanigans, and everybody were playing DAO or Mass Effect 2 at one point, and I'd play them on my shitty laptop at like 15fps.

So to me 2010 was like peak BioWare, and I'll miss whoever made that. Then I played Mass Effect 3 2 years later and I wasn't even an hour into the game before I said "this FEELS wrong!" and it's not just the ending that's the problem.
