i can buy all i want, i just dont feel like wasting money on games. i’ll buy it if i need a legal copy to play online but that’s very rare now. cry about it. even singleplayer games have this bullshit now, some games you’re literally better off making a copy and using a cracked exe just so you can install mods and not have it break when the devs push some useless update that breaks all your mods.
>MY hardware.
>MY bandwidth
>the files are on MY computer.
>i can and will do anything i fucking want to do to those files.
simple.
as.

PS5 is wide open so even snoys can just play games for free.
Only kekbox is pirate-free because no one cares about it.

It's morally correct to pirate Nintendo games. The rest is morally gray
>>
>>750192685
That's right fellas, don't archive your console games or back up Clean Stean files, because only BROWN people have any preservation instinct. Us Whites? We actually prefer the inevitable cloud computing total lockdown no fun allowed timeline.

My first console was some bootleg (S?)NES thing that came with a bunch of pre-installed games and I'd regularily buy cartridges at various town fairs when visiting family members throughout the year. My second console was bought specifically by my father because he knew a guy who knew a guy that could install a "chip" on the first PlayStation and then he paid the guy to burn at least 50 games on various discs. All of this happened before I ever knew what a PC was.

Whoever made the psyop to convince people that being a ignorant moron to buy a product you don't even own for $80 is a good thing must be proud of himself...
You probably think rich people buy and wear LV and Prada products too

>Raises literacy
>Increases volume sold
>All that's needed to outcompete plagiarism and piracy is basic competence in selling shit to your target audience
>Increases discoverability of quality media
>Learning how to pick up a new skill is actually affordable
>Makes international media more accessible
>Makes media preservation actually possible
>Cuts down on bullshit bureaucracy and drawn out court cases
>Encourages higher volumes of creative output from writers
>Encourages more rapid iteration with derivative media
>Encourages active discourse and rebuttals
>Doesn't encourage writers to self-censor and prevent their ideas from spreading
>Forces publishers to offer higher quality physical media to earn the real money, rather than being able to sell everyone the equivalent of slop paperbacks printed on recycled toiletpaper
>Publishers need to actually compete for writer's output rather than being able to fuck them over
>Publishers can't grow endlessly unhindered without becoming unstable
>Stick it to the French and the British
>A nest of publishers and reprinters is much less vulnerable to government censorship and in the modern age this would also translate to being less vulnerable to hosters, anti-DDOS and payment processors trying to interfere with publishers
>Actually complies with the constitution that ostensibly governs your country
Abolishing copyright is necessary to preserve western culture and academia.
