It was a fantastic game for the first few years of its life, but it seemed to keep getting less fun with every update towards the end of that period.The Overwatch 2 snafu is one of the bigger slaps in the face I've ever been dealt by a video game publisher. I bought Overwatch on two platforms and did not enjoy what they replaced it with. I quit playing before Overwatch 2 was released and haven't felt much desire to return to it since.But for a while, I found it to be a very fun game that scratched the same itch that TF2 did for a long time for me.

what killed overwatch?
I recently went back into the game. the 6v6 is fun for a bit. gameplay balance is really fucked, the cast is way too big now. maps still suck and are boring. its crazy that the game has never had really any positive changes in its entire life since its inception. it's still the same game, just with more heroes. there's still a lot of maps they removed that never came back and the "new" ones are a lot of just copy pasted segments from others with a different coat of paint. gundam evolution was way better in every regard.
