Maybe because turn based is extremely awful game genre. Lacking any sort of skill or entertainment on its own. Pokemon is interesting because of collecting pokemon, that's it. Every other turn base thing, especially the grid pattern ones, are garbage.

>>750214408It's not the only one, but they are all owned/run by Ankama. MMO players don't want to play turn based games. They lack the brain power for it while simultaneously thinking there's no "skill" involved. They also lack the patience to sit through other player and NPC turns.
