Why did Final Fantasy Resonance, a gacha slop game ran through an AI claude filter to produce an HD-2D game outperform FF XVI? Is the PC audience just dumb? Why don't they like action games and prefer boomer turn based games? especially gacha slop which every critic said that the story is HORRIBLE?

it was a success because nostalgia bait and scamming people by saying its a classic 2d FF. also ffxvi has a low ccu peak because it was a ps5 exclusive for a year before launching and by then everybody had already played the game.
