Is PC gaming really THAT good?People say OLED's, 144hz, 4k graphics, mods, etc will change your gaming life, but I just can't get over the price tag
It's cheaper in the long run
>>750215661all games are free, and you've got several million games to choose from if you emulate.
No its not worth it and people saying otherwise invested too much into their rigs
No, but people will say anything to justify their purchase to not make themselves look like clowns.
>>750215661>OLEDmeme>144hzgreat but 180hz is what i use>4k graphicslooks good but not worth the massive performance hit>modscan be fun to mess with but i haven't used any in about 11 years
>>750215661as someone who switch over during the ps4 to ps5 era yes. all that stuff would be worth it on its own but the games are simply just better plus console exclusives are barely a thing anymore.but again that's coming from someone who made the switch before prices got insane. I'd still say it's worth it but only if you're actually in a comfortable life position

basically comes down to if you like to sit on a desk or on a couch while playing video game
I just use a gaymer laptop from 2025 with a mobile 4080 and a i9 I got with a big discount. It just werks and will werk until hardware prices go down if they ever will.
>>750216410not really.I got a pc and hooked up everything to my TV. i almost exclusively still play with controller.
>>750215661Just get a midrange rig and enjoy the colossal catalog of the entire gaming history Even better if you spend the time to find a controller you really like. there are a lot of options
>>750215661Have you considered not being brown and poor?
>>750215661It's not a good idea to get in during a speculation bubble. You may find games you want to run can play on your phone. Google emulators like Winlator. Bubbles do eventually pop.
